They are different. Malagore was an ancient volcano monster that got blown to bits in the same movie he appeared in. Dark Spector was the Unicron of Power Rangers.

The both have different history but they should have different suit.

While they in an ideal world should have different suits they have to share the suit out of budget reasons. Nothing someone can do about it.
