I have the feeling the creators are paying tribute to Tochihara's role as Asumu from Hibiki while at the same time deliberately toying with our brains with a similar name. :lolol

So the reason original DekaYellow has been replaced with a Neo version is because

Jasmine got married & had a child in the ten year gap.


AND

her husband is the boy from Deka eps 7/8, meaning he's roughly ten years her junior...
