I think for themes Saban's at the mercy of Toei and what it decides to do. If they ever do something off the wall like all bug zords and Saban brings that over that might be a nice breath of fresh air.

Well, it's not like Saban can do much else.

I miss the storytelling of Old Saban-Era seasons.
