No mention of the Berserk unveils? They're making all five members of the God Hand, which are pretty monstrous, it's kind of a big deal for Figma I think. lol.

There is so much I'm in for after seeing the reveals last night. Link, Samus, the horse (for my AoT figures), Silent Hill, Motoko, and more.

That is pretty cool, but I lost my interest in Berserk about 3-4 years ago. Loved the designs of the God Hand.

I'd be worried if not for the fact most of these likely won't see releases for a good 2-3 years, if ever. Even that "Marth" Figma we saw last year isn't being released until September and considering Link and Samus were the two best selling Max Factory products last year (not counting Miku) you'd think they'd be pushing her out as quickly as possible.

Well I can see the Kill la Kill and Saber 2.0 figures coming out sooner because of the animes airing or set to air soon, wouldn't be surprised if Archer came out with Saber either.

Yeah, that's a good point Random. Figma's take forever to come out sometimes. Well, hopefully Femto will come sooner than later since Figma seems to be releasing Berserk figures somewhat regularly at the moment. The rest of the group I can see taking awhile though. I hope they don't drag their feet on Link and Samus though.

Glad to see that Marth/Lucina is finally getting a release date. I had begun to think it wouldn't make it out. I'm down for Link and maybe Epona if it is more than a statue. Is that Fire Emblem Cordelia going to be a statue like the Tharja that was released?

How does she look compared to Figuarts?

I have her currently on my Ryuki shelf due to space and she looks fine. I'll post some pictures of her later on this week with some Figuarts as I plan on having some more fun with Samus as she is amazing.

Agreed. I don't mind the outfit on the show and I totally get that it's supposed to be an overblown parody of sexualized costumes on a lot of girls in action shows, but as a figure? It's a bit too racy, and I'd rather not have people unfamiliar with the show start assuming things about me. I wouldn't mind a regular uniform or first episode version of her, but I'll have to give her a pass as she is. Even if the show is one of the best in ages.

I agree with Turahk and Branchild. I like her design, but yeah...I can't have that on my shelf.

Overall, I am really impressed with Samus. I love that she comes with her morph ball form and some shot attachments, but I do wish one of them would have been a missile instead since she comes with the missile version of the cannon tip. It was pretty cool that she came with a stand though and a bag to hold her accessories. Was not expecting that. Also, surprisingly, her hands are easily interchangeable without any issues. They seem like they are too easy to fall out though, as I have had them do so when I tried to curse them. On the downside, I find it is kind of dumb that she did not come with a Metroid. Hopefully the Zero suit one will or they will do a Ridley Figma.

I think I'm going to have to order Link this week.

Anyone know when Guyver Unit 01 is coming out? I want to pre-order him before he sells out. I'm a Huge Guyver fan since 2007 and I never own a single Guyver figure since the Max Factory figures are way too much for me.

At 8800 yen (1000 more than the standard version) and a GSC store exclusive, I think I may pass.

I'm honestly thinking of passing on the normal one as well. I'd rather just track down an SHF Iron Man at that price.

So I set up a FigInStock alert for Kirito a while back and man has it just been really disheartening... I've not seen one below 8500 yen, which is just too much for me*, but one just went up for 11000... Damn. Why did I ever pass on his preorder?

*Which means as much as I would like an Iron Man and how good I think the open helmet face looks (much better face sculpt than Thor, at least), that is just wayyyy too much money for the retail price.

Getting the marvel license and rights to use the actor's face must've cost Max Factory a pretty penny.

That Thor looks a little off to me, but I wouldn't mind the full Avengers run, eventually. I was tempted to pre-order it this morning as Nippon-Yasan seems to be carrying it at 5400¥.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another Figma release of another Marvel Avengers character announced a few months from Thor's announcement.

Armin, Levi, and Eren are all scheduled for release. Armin technically was already at WonFest, I believe, but the online orders aren't due to be shipped for a while.

I decided to make a display for my Samus Figma as I am currently in a big Metroid mood and wanted to do something cool to celebrate my favorite video game of all time along with finally getting a Samus figure (and one that kicks ass). Here is my tribute to Lower Norfair (with a space marine and a second to follow as Samus was kind of lonely and I needed some canon-fodder).
