I have to say I'm disappointed that Bandai nerfed the Zyudenchi reading gimmick yet again. Awesome music though.

Just an update for those who pre-ordered Tobaspino from HLJ, as per usual they didn't get enough in so people who haven't gotten a payment request have been put on back-order. Just like Pteraidenoh. And Bunpachy. And Plezuoh.
Despite having pre-orders still open for Tobaspino yesterday, it looks like anyone who pre-ordered it later then June 30 are missing out. It's just terrible.

This is why I made sure I got in when Amiami put some available, I knew that HLJ would disappoint again. I expect I'll be doing this for Bragigas too, because I always miss Amiami pre-orders.

I pre-ordered at HLJ the very day they went up. If I get screwed again then they'll never get another piece of my business ever again.

I swear they just pick orders at random. Seeing as my order, placed day one is now on backorder, I can't support these kinds of ridiculous business practices anymore. I wash my hands of HLJ. Every year I get screwed by them in some form or fashion.

Just tried the Rocket Kyoryujin combo for the first time. Ugly as hell but no breakings! Looks like my set's from the good side of quality control.

You mean your Plezu-Oh or Kyoryuzin? Kyoryuzin is the one with the breaking tabs, I wasn't aware of any issues with Plezu-Oh and mine seems to hold up just fine.

So anybody know how well Testors will work on the minipla? I might try to paint mine :lol

The way reports have been piling up, I'm half-expecting someone to report breaking on PlezuOh now. Especially with those transparent purple clips.

The transparent clips are pretty scary.

And yeah my Gabutyra's clips did finally snapped about a week ago :( But luckily Kyoryuzin is fairly affordable right now so I can just buy another one to display and use this one as my junker for combos.

Same here. One clip on each arm had already loosened but I used the card stock trick to fix them. But I looked at my Kyoryujin last night and the bottom right clip (on the back) was cracked clean down the middle (it was in the Bakeratsu form...shouldn't have left it like that I guess). Guess I'll have to pick up a new one at some point. I haven't heard of any issues past the first batch (the ones stamped with 1/13) so hopefully they fixed the issues in the later batches.

They work well for me. Also that's kinda in the wrong thread. Kinda.

My pteraidenoh suffered a clip break last night. Kinda sucks but since I hate having him combined with the others I'll cope with it in its solo form

Pteraidenoh did? Which clips? My Gabutyra has suffered broken back clips but I wasn't aware of anything like that with Pteraidenoh.

Mine did too, I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread.

The right clip that holds Parasagun in Western Mode lost its grip; the clip won't close in over Parasagun's clips so it keeps falling out. I "fixed" it by cutting a plastic card into tiny pieces and wedging a piece between the clip and the outside and it can now regrip Parasagun.
Still annoying though considering how delicately I use my toys. There must be thousands of upset kids in Japan. Luckily, my Gabutyra hasn't suffered any problems, but from what I've read its only a matter of time.

Exactly what happened to me. I kind of had it coming as i left him in western form for quite a while. I think the fact the batteries were extended might have played a part in causing the stress.

Its not the end of the world. Im not buying another, id rather not piss away money. I may pick up some spares in a year when theyre for sale dirt cheap, but for now, i can live without the clips on him.

If gabutyra breaks im gonna cry though

I display mine as Kyoryujin, Pteraidenoh Western, Spinodaioh and Plezuoh. Is that putting too much stress on the joints? Maybe I should consider displaying them in dinosaur mode...

I have 7 of mine displayed in their dinosaur modes while Pteraidenoh & Plezuoh are in their robot modes. None of the clips have broken on mine yet.

Is anyone here getting the Gabutyra De Carnival? It is kind of just too goofy to pass on.

I'm thinking about buying these toys, but reading about their delicate and breakable joints does give me pauses, since they aren't cheap by any means. Should I wait for them to fix the problem first?

They work mighty well. I look forward to the results.

I really dislike the Kyoryuger mecha (Abaranger did arm-swapping dinosaurs better and Go-Onger did cartoony mecha with a collectible sound gimmick MUCH better).. and yet I find myself drawn to the beauty that is Kyoryujin Dark Version. If that gets a regular release, I would be very tempted to get it and Pteragordon for the combined black/gold/silver motif with RaidenKyoryujin Dark Version. And then I might get Parasagun & Bunpachy to go with the black/gold/silver.. and I really like Bunpachy's arm mode.

And then I'd probably regret the purchase within a month or two like with Goseiger...

The only reason I'm not biting on the Kyoryuger toys is because honestly, I'll wait for DinoVolt. Then I can get the English versions of the sword and gun.
