After experiencing a minor delay due to my not being home when the mail arrived, they held it over the long weekend. (-_-) I finally have this guy thanks to Den-O. Probably my one and only PAK figure. Maybe Maaaaaaaaaaybe I'll get Bahamut if he doesn't break the bank super hard. Would be a great stand in for an Orphnoch.

Yeah, it's REALLY easy to buy just one and not want all the others. They're cool, but ratchet joints are stupid. I'd be more inclined to buy them if they were built like SIC. When I saw Aquaman, my reaction was "Oh look, for once Aquaman doesn't suck."

I wouldn't normally buy the legacy Megazord but after years of searching for affordable Zyuranger DX's I think this is my only option. After seeing the Dragonzord this week I've been hit with the realization that finding a real DX Dragon Caesar probably won't be cheap ever. I have to settle for this kind of thing in these instances.

And Gabutyra/Minityra sucks :( I plan to keep the battery but if anybody wants to buy the weapon I'm game to sell it. Just not my thing at all after messing around with it. $40 if somebody wants him.

I never understood why people constantly treat the Legacy Megazord as inferior to the 90's toy. Outside of the Triceratop's tail not being able to swing it's guns and not having real wheels, I don't see what's so devastatingly terrible about it that you have to "Settle" for it.

It's not outright terrible but the Legacy is a cheaper scaled down less functional version of that original toy, I'd rather have that size and full functionality. No matter how little or much additional functionality that may be. It's not bad at all, I'd just prefer to have the original if at all possible. In this instance it really isn't.

And yeah the Minityra thing kind of surprised me. I really expected to love it in person, but that's cool. Someone already PM'd me to buy it and I get to keep the battery :D

i completely agree with you.

i own the original.. the plastic 2010 one.. and the legacy version.

by far the legacy version is my favorite. it looks cleaner, it looks leaner, the chrome on it is beautiful and it just feels like a better figure.

in my eyes, the legacy figure is a major step up from the original.

it might be smaller.. but the size really doesn't matter to me.

i cannot wait to get the legacy dragonzord.

I'm going to disagree there. I'd rather have the Legacy one because it is show accurate in colors and stickers. The only thing I don't care for on it are the pegs on the T-Rex's legs, but at least it allows for better movement and stability when combined.

How would the DX Daizyujin not be show accurate exactly? I don't want the US Megazord, I collect JP releases and while the Legacy is the most accurate thing I can get, I'd much rather have Daizyujin. The original has the size and quality that I feel the Legacy lacks.

Kyoryu Red arrived today! He's pretty great. I wish the "Armed On" arm was a little easier to fit in though, but I think the arm guards just get in the way of the shoulder pad a bit much. Still, he's up there as one of my favourites with the Jetman and the Gokaiger.

Also, I picked up a sealed DX Chrono Morpher for 2100 Yen! Bargain!

For the Daizyujin VS Legacy debate. I personally prefer the look of the Legacy, but I would like to own Daizyujin (not the ugly stickered MMPR version) so that I could have a collection that represents the Sentai toyline better, but he's waaaaaay out of my price range, so I'm happy to have the Legacy.

I'm still waiting on mine to show up with Hurricane Red and Kiba Ranger among a a few other things, I think i'll be the last to the party :lol

I'm still waiting on my Kiba Ranger so you may beat me there (I fully expect to be the last one to that party), but you're in for a real treat with the other two.

Well... I have both the original Megazord and the Legacy one and really it's basically the Legacy one is more...'streamlined'...?

It has a bit more leg to make it look less crunched down.

It's kind of same thing with the Shinkenger and PR Samurai Megazord toys. The legs look longer on the U.S. version and it helps the overall look of the robot mode.

I will openly admit I prefer the Japanese toys in their separate vehicle/animal modes though. The original Megazord zords have working wheels and a bit more detail/function.

Honestly, the size means nothing to me. It's not like there are any monsters that size for him to fight anyway.
