Thanks to LWW, I ended up with the SRC MagiKing. Holy crap. These SRC Sentai robots are kind of awesome. I need to track down the Dekarobo and Gokai-Oh now. (I'm kind of iffy about DaiZyuZin.)

Definitely I think DekaRobo is the best of the bunch.

DaiZyuJin is my favorite of the ones I own. I've also got MagiKing and Gokai-Oh. The angled wrists aren't a huge problem for me.

Shinken-Oh definitely looks super plain. I have no intention of ever getting that one. Dekaranger Robo I hear almost nothing but good things about. Though honestly, I only want it for Pat Striker. If you track one down and decide not to get Gokai-Oh, I'd totally buy Pat Striker from you.

So you guys all know the story of my car accident right? Well, it's still in the shop and won't be out til next week. Due to all of the things I've had to do, I've had no real chance to buy anything new outside of paying off preorders. But then one day, on tumblr, I noticed something. Someone was selling one of my holy grails for less to around 1/3 of the price I would have to pay for it on Mandarake. After messaging him last week and sending the payment, I waited patiently. Then I got panicky since it was over a week and I hadn't heard from him. So when I left this morning, I was certain I would have to email him tomorrow in case he didn't actually ship it yet or if he had just ran off with my money. But then I came home, still pissed about my car, to find a box on my bed. Taking out my box cutter, I opened it quickly and lo and behold, my holy grail:

it does but the lot didnt include it. just like I got a Sengoku Driver without the Baron faceplate & Banana. only paid $90 for the lot though so its no big deal I can always get one later

edit: I feel like an idiot, I had no idea the Mix Faceplate was literally the lock piece of the Genesis Driver lol. I was thinking I still had to hunt one down

DX Lemon Energy comes with the Sonic Arrow which is for the most part, sold out everywhere or cost $90+ shipped. There were several nutjobs on ebay a while back selling the lock seed by itself for more than the complete sonic arrow altogether. And there are plenty of people selling Sonic Arrows without the Lock Seed for $40-50 shipped.

I need a Melon as well. Would be amazing if I could find those 2 DX seeds without the weapons for a decent price.

I got my Road Sector today, surprisingly, as I didn't expect it until tomorrow. Holy moly this thing is awesome! The box is really nicely done, the paint apps and detailing are exquisite, and it's much larger than the pictures led me to believe. I've never even seen Black but I can say, hands down, this is one of the nicest bikes I've picked up so far. The only downside I can see for some people is the accessory count. One clear plastic stand, a replacement back-end for swapping the cover, and one extra set of handlebars. Honestly, I can't think of much more they could have packed in there, really. A set of hands and a real Tamashii stage would be about it, I imagine. What it doesn't have isn't even close to souring me on it, though. It is gorgeous!

I really wanted it myself but had to pass on it for the initial orders. Just wasn't gonna have that much to spare for it AND everything else that came out recently. I do need ot pick it up at some point though, it is gorgeous.

I swear I am never using SAL on Mandrake again, it's way too nerve-wracking. SAL normally takes 3-4 weeks to get to me so it's normally a nice alternative but both times I bought from Mandrake and used SAL it had taken 6-7 weeks after they had already shipped it(not including the wait for them to cheek stock/etc)

Still after the adorableness of Sano, Yutaka, and Ryoma's actor playing with him I'm glad I finally got my Baron-chibi. Now I just need to get Gaim to complete the set.

Also I went to the Houston Japanese festival wearing my Baron coat and found what I think was the only Tokusatsu merch, all for $1.25

That chibi is cool! I wasn't able to make it to Japan Fest. I probably would've noticed you if you were wearing a Baron coat.

Interesting. I've been using SAL consistently on my recent Mandarake orders and it's only been taking my stuff on average about a week to a week and a half to get here (I'm in California). I think the longest wait time was two weeks. I've never had anything shipped using SAL, registered or not, take anywhere near that long to get here.

I think it's normally early April, it was the weekend of the 12 this year.

That's what I found so strange about it, honestly I just thought it was a fluke the first time. I'm in Texas so I'm used to a bit of a longer wait but even for me the wait was ridiculous.

I hear you on SAL, man. I bought some Gundams from HLJ like, 2 weeks ago, and there's still no sign of them. I guess it's still within the estimated time, but the last time I ordered from HLJ, I shipped it SAL and it took over a month.
