For me I'll just hold off for the Shinkocchou Super Sentai lineup instead of the current release. :D

It's a shame that Bluefin can't bring a lot of these new Figuarts out over here to the U.S. so I'll have to go all import, but the fact that I'll be able to have my 90s era Saban shows dang near complete on a shelf in figure form is exciting. Big Bad Beetleborg and V.R. Troopers standing alongside my MMPR and Masked Rider already on the shelf.

I'm very excited. Also, the non-Toku Figuarts reveals were pretty great, too.

Am I the only one who thinks the proportions look out of whack?

Drive looks fine to me. It could just be the angling for you, as it's not like these pictures of Drive are really all that spectacular.

I didn't say it was a poor showing. I think the showing was incredible and I agree that it was one of the best in a long time. It's just that they did not show a lot for me personally to get invested in. I was speaking on a personal level, not as a whole.

I actually agree that he looks strange, but not in the same ways. I think the legs look a bit too chunky and I agree on the shoulders. The head looks fine though. I know I'm just nitpicking here, to be fair.
I just hope the Shift Cars don't end up being as messy as Fourze's Switches. And obviously, for no messes like the first run of Wizard Flame.

It's the tire. It shifts your line of sight and he looks crooked.

The sad part is how Drive's suit actually looks better without the tire on his chest.

So the Tamashii Nations blog has some new pictures, which I know had one new Robot Damashii Side AB reveal in them. So.. I guess that's our last hope for decent pictures of the other new stuff? I can't believe so many things didn't get good pictures..

Oddly, yes. In the episode titled Convention Dimension. The footage briefly shows Janperson, Gun Gibson, & Bill Goldy all 3 of course are from Janperson. It was weird.

It would be amazing if this new push Metal Heroes are getting was tied to some new DVD/Bluray releases. Anything to finally get more subs. Speaking off.. I was comparing Gavans last night, and the renewal looks like it has maybe a bit more detail and a better head sculpt? It's hard to tell. I've been meaning to pick up some more Space Sheriff stuff but the issues put me off.. not sure if I should wait to pick up the other characters or see what Bandai does after Renewal Gavan. Thing is, it looks Bandai stands behind the other two and renewal Gavan is meant to go with them? I can never understand Bandai. Shoot, did I just go off topic? :(

Well anyway, I hope Janperson and Kabutak are released and are not just solo releases.

What I see on Renewal Gavan is full range hips that look like they work much better than the original. Hopefully they aren't as prone to loosening either. The sculpt on the torso appears to be much more robust and accurate as well, especially the detailing around the chest and shoulder area. The wrists are hopefully modified as well as the original 4 Space Sheriff releases all have rather thin brittle wrist ball joints. I've personally experienced a couple breaks with them. Overall it appears to be a great improvement.

I doubt the push for figures mean much for home video release. Even if it did those types of releases are generally very expensive. Prohibitively so for sub groups which do their work for free as well. But if the material ever did get out there in DVD/Blu-Ray form it would definitely increase the likelihood of subs.

Did they announce Goseiger yet.

^ I was hoping for a ToQger late reveal, but Goseiger (one of th best recent sentai suits) needs to also be made.

You are a toku fans best friend, thanks Den-O, that really helps me out. I think I'll hold off and just wait to see what comes after the Gavan renewal. Though as cheap as the others are and the current rate.. might be a good time to be cautious and buy them anyway.

I was trying to figure out if the hips had been improved, glad up wasn't the only one seeing that. It really does look fantastic. I'm fine with buying new versions of figures I have if they are an overall improvement.

Hmm yeah I guess that's just my hopeful dreaming. At least Bandai remembers that Metal Heroes exist and are giving them figures finally.

All these Metal Heroes coming soon and older Sentai teams... My wallet is so hating me right now for what's coming.

I wish they could release them here in the U.S., but I got my Gokaigers, Dekarangers, Go-Busters, and Shinkengers through sites like Mandarake to get them, so it's not a big issue for me.
