@Topic: Official pics start to hit the net (I won't link all of them, just go to TFW) and we get a first look at the accessory count: Hot Rod includes his Buzzsaw hand, a Matrix compartment where you can store the Matrix that came with MP-10, a visor, a fishing rod and 2 guns. Shockwave features a light-up gimmick which lights up his gun arm in robot mode and the gun barrel in gun mode, his hands are interchangeable, he comes with an alternate articulated left hand, clear plastic versions of his right hand and the gun hand, two saluting hands, a stand for his gun mode which slides over his backpack in robot mode and last but not least: A tiny version of himself in gun mode to be held by himself or your other Decepticons. Shockwave also has the possibility of having a Decepticon logo on his chest, but that might just be an optional sticker. I’m loving the accessory counts for these two, especially Shockwave! Bring on the pre-orders HLJ, I need my Shockwave! :lol |

Fishing rod is what sold me on hot rod now they just need to do a new rodimus as well
|
I don't quite like the proportions on the new Hot Rod TBH, the rectangular chest and the long arms look kinda weird to me. It's more accurate than MP-09's giant shoulders, but still.
But they absolutely nailed Shockwave, can’t wait for this one. |

I am absolutely getting Shockwave. All of those accessories is just oodles of icing on the cake.
C'mon AmiAmi! I'm sure I'll have other things coming in that month to make it worth it anyway lol. |
The thing is hot rod chest is accurate to show model as season 4 show model where it looks like that so I am fine but this is first time I want just cause it cones with a fishing rod.
I'm fine with the chest http://i.ytimg.com/vi/nYIgQpg5LVA/hqdefault.jpg |
Oh man, both are really tempting. Shockwave's cooler, but should they ever get around to doing a Galvatron (which is an instant buy for me) I'll want to Hot Rod for him to pound.
I have to stay strong. |

Shockwave looks so cool. I'm really tempted to pick him up.
|
I can afford to buy the MP Transformers toys. I'm just a causal collector of the series, so I just buy whatever I find and like at my local store. MP Shockwave looks really nice and I would buy him if I can afford him.

Glad they announced a new MP hotrod, his older version is really messed up. Im scared to transform mine so I keep him in alt mode. This shockwave mp is an instant buy for me. |
Meanwhile I've just been trying to get a damn MP Stascream and have had absolute shit luck. Wasn't awake at 3 fucking AM for initial pre-orders, and have never seen him in stock in a store by me.
I've been looking during the dozen times he was listed as ship-to-home in the past few weeks (except for one 2 hour period he was available last week >_<) and just could not get the damn thing to add to my cart. He went too fast. Until this morning, where I got as far as hitting "Submit Order". The last fucking step. And the page never loaded after that. I didn't realize at first... Maybe I could have checked out again if I had right away... But he was gone again... |

Yeah. There's a reason he's near the top of my wants... Because that was horrible. At only $59.99, Starscream is just too tempting to miss though. :/ |
And CN apparently Thundercats'd another series.
http://news.tfw2005.com/2015/10/03/t...evealed-302292 |
Why am I not surprised.
|
Crap. Of course CN wants to end the series; it's not like they ever cared for it.
Though that does leave the question of what Hasbro's going to do for the next series. Either stay with Cartoon Network and risk getting Thundercatted again, move to Nick and get drowned out by their live action crap, move to (UGH!) Disney and get ignored in favor of Star Wars, Marvel, whatever it is part of that glob of a company. Why is it that all three major children's' networks are so fond of subpar dribble? Teen Tians GO, that little yellow thing that should have ended years ago and the lacking Marvel cartoons get all the press while the good shows are ignored. Are children that stupid? Transformers deserve better than this. At least let the brand have a 65 episode cartoon to its name again. |
Meanwhile, the BotCon 2016 set has been announced. Beast Wars repaints/molds of Combiner Wars.
And unlike what some over at TFW are trying to twist my words into, I don't hate its existence (I'm actually a little intrigued by who they'll end up using and the new head molds), I'm just very disappointed that our only Beast Wars 20th anniversary item so far is an overpriced convention exclusive that's not actually even beast toys. Also, yeah, not surprised about RID. It was destined to fail on Cartoon Network by airing at its earliest time slot and once a week. Been saying that since its announcement.. |

Seeing as Hasbro sunk a good deal of money into those combiner molds and people seem to like them a lot I'm not surprised they want as much out of them as they can before mold degradation sets in. We saw it with the Car Brothers, the Classics seekers and we're sure as rain going to see as many combiners come out as HasTak can make 'em. I do wonder which character's getting each mold though. Smart money says the Onslaught/Bludgeon mold for Megatron and Hot Spot/ Pyra Magna for Optimus Primal. I know the layouts aren't going to be what I exactly want but this is what I wish to see how the combiners turn out to be. Maximals: Optimus; aforementioned Hot Spot Cheetor; Drag Strip Rhinox; Rook Rattrap; Breakdown Dinobot; Prowl/Streetwise/Smokescreen Predicons: Megatron: aforementioned Onslaught Waspinator: that CW helicopter mold that's used a lot. Scorpinok: Swindle/Hound Terrorsaur: Firefly Tarantulas: If Hasbro can get the rights to it UW Groove. |
Well RID 2015 has very little marketing to it. I see no ads for it anywhere and I saw like one toy commercial for it. I would have never know about the show if I was not a fan of the series. There was McDonalds had happy meal toys for it, but that was about it. I guess Hasbro is not worry about ratings for the show as long if the toy sales are good.
|
Typical CN. RiD is a nice little show, nothing special, but I liked watching a few episodes here and there.

Strike 1: Combiner Wars Molds. They are just not for me. Strike 2: Beast Wars characters that don't turn into beasts. Like, why? The Timelines-idea was neat, but this is where they should've stopped with releasing BW-characters as toys who turn into vehicles. That's not what Beast Wars is about, it’s about beasts, they are in the freakin title of the franchise. Not that I would buy Botcon items in the first place, but this is still not for me, at all. |
There are so many other things they could've done with the CW molds, too. Like an RID set (fire truck OP, Car Brothers and Skid-Z/Tow-Line).

Hmmm...
Shockwave is up on AmiAmi... So why can't I bring myself to hit that "Pre-order" button... |
Oh yeah Hot Rod & Shockwave are up for pre-order, I grabbed a Shockwave at HLJ.
|
Oi. Anyone with a spare hundred dollars on hand do me a quick favor and grab me a Shockwave?
...Anyone? Anyone? Damn :lol Anyway, I'm still weary of Hot Rod. |

Gonna be worth it though, purple space gun FTW. |
ok so apprently megatron in devastation does not transform in to a gun so if the game does well could we see a new G1 MP megatron that transformers what ever he transform in to in devastation
|

The explanation to why Megatron's a tank in this game is because the whole game is a big advertisement for the CW-line; you can see that just because of the title and the major role of Devastator. Also, Menasor has Offroad as a leg instead of Wildrider. So the Megatron in this game transformers into a tank, because CW Megatron is a tank and because Platinum can work better with a tank than a pistol. Masterpiece is all about cartoon accuracy and nods to the toys, they'd never do a Megatron as a tank. That's probably why we haven't seen a V2 Megatron by now. |
ok. that make sense. i guess still waiting for my galavatron i swear they hinted before during the time of mp rodimus
|
I’m actually really surprised MP-29 is Shockwave and not Galvatron. Considering how they release Hot Rod, re-release MP Magnus and do a Legends Springer in celebration of the movie anniversary. I mean Shockwave is really awesome, but Galvatron would’ve been a much more logical choice.
And I’m not sure we get a new mold soon (aside from Primal) because there’s still the remold/repaint of Ironhide (Ratchet?) that needs to be done and maybe another repaint. 3 new molds in a row is kinda strange after Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Tracks got almost immediately reused. Maybe they don’t want to do Galvatron before Megatron V2? I doubt it, but it could be the case. |
yea at the same time hasbro also in charge in some why on what tehy want as a mp so fare they want onese that less gun or realistic gun mp
|
I picked up Devastation today, really looking forward to playing it when I get home. :D
