It would actually be really cool if all of the Riders were friends and worked as a team RIGHT out of the gate. Probably won't happen because it seems like multi-rider shows feel that they have to strive on conflict. But whatever.

That would be interesting. One of the things I enjoyed so much about Hibiki was that all the Riders worked for an organization and were on the same team. You could see a random Rider pop up from time to time if he happened to be on a mission in the main team's area.

It was basically a much more functional version of Blade.

I've heard that all the riders except Genmu are good so I don't see why not. It would be cool to have a rider team. Racer and Ex-Aid have to be partners since Racer is Ex-Aid's bike. Do you guys think Racer will be the secondary rider?

I think Genmu's bike can actually form armor because if you look at his level 3 form, he has bike wheels on his shoulders. Plus the LVUR08 set seems to have a pink and green bike, the same color bike that's on Genmu's Level 3 armor.

The funky pink and green bicycle is indeed Genmu's armor.

....but i really hope that the bicycle is functional. It would be funny as hell.

The idea of the bike itself being the secondary rider for the series is such a logical creative move that I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been done before.


Also, I have to give the concept + designs of this show a.....high score.

Hmm....the other Riders (Ex-Aid, Brave, Snipe, and Racer) uses robot-like armors when they obtain Level 3 Forms. But Genmu use bike. Hmm...I think Genmu use bike as Level 3 armor for upgrade is unique and cool too.

Level 4 looks interesting too. Each Rider use Dragon-like Rider Gahsats. Level 3 armors still used in Level 4. I thnik Level 4 would change their base suits....

I hope Racer has interesting and cool voices :D

Since Kamen Rider Racer is Kamen Rider Ex-Aid's motorcycle, I think Racer is Ex-Aid's partner...

This is getting worse and worse.

Loving the designs still and premise is interesting. The salt from others is just a glorious bonus.

I think the chibi form serves as a "shell" of some sort.

It does serve an important purpose so I am fine with the chibi look.
Besides it reminds me of Robotack and Kabutack.

Anyway..... maybe in episode 1 he first time use Level 1 Form and in episode 2, he use Level 2 form. Like in Kabuto when he use Masked Form in episode 1 and Rider Form in episode 2.....

About chibi form, I hope each Rider in Ex-Aid has special things in their chibi form...maybe various abilities...

I do hope this becomes the rider show that draws me back to Kamen Rider.

The only good thing I get from this is the possibility that they might handle the majority of comedy with suit acting instead of having one or two entire characters who do nothing but stupid shit and I would prefer that.

I love everything I'm seeing. The visuals of the show should at least be fantastic. Now I've gotta hope they bring it all together with good names on the creative staff.

Takebe did Gaim, be interesting if she returns to produce this. If not her, I'd be willing to bet on Ohmori - hopefully this approach is more Kyoryuger and less Drive.

REALLY don't know how I feel about the chibi thing right now. Its gonna depend how it looks in execution but right now that's the key aspect I'm sold on.

This thing is totally Kabutack 2.0 though. Den-O must be loving it.

There's something that's really annoying me. His rider kick in that one image? Why isn't he looking at the enemy? Because he has visible eyes, he's gonna have to emote with his head a lot more, since it otherwise looks like he's not even paying attention...

The chibi thing looks silly. Whether it's silly good or silly bad is yet to be seen. I'm not loving it, though.

I personally really love the design, and I'm fine with the eyes, in theory. But it was already kind of evident in the picture of the Rider kick in the catalog and it's evident in this, the fact that he's got eyes and they aren't moving is gonna cause Problems.

The good thing about the style of helmets the Riders have had up till now is their ambiguity, they could really be looking at or doing anything. That's still the case now, I guess, but making the face a deliberate part of the design through the eyes is gonna make it more of a challenge to get across.

But I guess there's no use crying about it until we actually see it in motion. I'm hoping it's better than it appears.

Liking everything else though. I'm glad that we finally get a good look at his shoes, and by golly they are garish. I like that a lot.

Anyway, not a lot new besides some story tidbits. Actually a bit more interested in the Ghost scans, hoping those make it online soon...

Strangely, I'm pretty much 100% okay with the whole chibi thing. I thought I wouldn't like it, but that fact that it's confirmed to be a suit makes things better for me. I've said it before, I like the ideas and achromatic design of the Ex-Aid suit, but the colors on the thing are just impassable for me. I still can not comprehend how "garish" equals "good" to some people.

And you can count on every other Tokunation member to leap in with even blunter idea that any old shit should just be accepted, and that just because someone doesn't like something, they must hate everything. Beautiful, I'm glad we all apparently operate on the level of school children. It never ceases to impress how petty other members are when someone says something negative about a TV show they like.

So like when I was stiffening up over, I dunno, SIC Gaim when news of that hit, was I hating everything back then, too?

I resent that; I vocally enjoy plenty of things. Check out anything I've had to say about Zyuohger, Ultraman Orb, or Kamen Rider Amazons (after the first couple episodes). I'm just more harsh on Kamen Rider because it's a franchise I really care about and I feel like it's not been living up to its potential recently.

I still plan to give Ex-Aid a fair shot. As far as I know it'll be a really good show. I just think the designs are godawful.

I wonder how they going to fit the suit actor in a Chibi form? I bet they got a midget actor to fit in that suit! Not even Seiji Takaiwa can fit in that Chibi suit! He's too big!
