I wish the current riders could be more like the showa ones in terms of plots.

I think the second half of Ex-Aid is a lot weaker than the first half.

The current riders are too much generic.

Amazons season 2 was better than season 1 and Chihiro is an interesting and compelling character.

Kiva isn't a bad show. It has problems, but I don't think it deserves nearly as much hate as it gets.

I like Agito over Kuuga.

Wizard is a good series.

Early Heisei isn't as dark as everyone makes it out to be, also Amazons is more like the First and The Next in terms of tone.

Kamen Rider Gaim has a serious story, but there is a lot of dumb humor in it. I don't think the show is as dark as people make it out to be. However I do like how it handles both serious and comedy.

I'm really liking Ghost so far (halfway through). I can see the issues, but they don't seem to be that bad.

Wait till he gets his super form then the issues start to show more.

Asuna Karino's personality are so much better than Poppy personality. I really dislike Poppy's personality especially when she panic and screaming.

Kouta from Gaim is a bland protagonist

I don't like W and can't see anything good about it except Shotaro personality.

Amazonz is garbage and I hate that that edgetastic show is the first Kamen Rider series we’ve gotten official subs for in recent years.

I like Poppy, she was cute and sweet. ...when she wasn't being a Rider that beat everyones ass.

I liked Akiko in 'W' too though, and everyone (online) seems to hate her.

idk,..I like girls that act "girly",...most of the women around me IRL act like dudes, so.....yeah....that's pretty far from cute or girly.

My (possibly controversial but probably not) opinion, both Poppy and Asuna are great but have flaws as characters.

I figured this thread would have something by now that I would have to call bullshit on but amazingly not a lot of these are really that controversial or even weird. Maybe a bit odd but nothing bad.

Kamen Rider Decade is the best Rider Series in the history of the franchise. There is not one other show which comes close to it's brilliance.

I've got a good one: I liked the first half of Drive better than the second half. The first half mixed MOTW with a cop show and pulled it off pretty well, but the bigger story focus in the second half wasn't anything special.

Necrom's development from villain to hero was far better chase's ever was.

I actually like the number theory as it makes it easier to remember the order of certain Riders

One of the fastest ways to trigger me is to start talking about how a new Rider fits the number theory.

I think Chase's feels more natural with the plot, but Necrom's was just a more enjoyable journey.

I felt like Decade started off good until the later half when it felt like they didn't know what to do with the story. It's also the shortest rider TV season next to the original Amazon. I guess Decade didn't do well enough to carry out another 20+ episodes.

Wasnt there some info going around that Decade was literally created to fill time between Kiva and W/Double? Hence why there's W/Double sounds in the decadriver?

The halfway mark is around when the original writer quit. It was always meant to be a shorter series, though.

I really dislike when Kamen Rider didn't has lot of Monster of The Week in recent years. Ghost's last monster of the week are in episode 36, Ex-Aid's last monster of the week are in episode 22, and Build's last monster of the week are in episode 16. Its quite boring without monster of the week.

I like a mix of MOTW and serialized storytelling. I think that's one of the reasons I liked Kiva so much, it mixes the two well.

On the flip side, if something sticks too closely to MOTW, it's boring as well. LOTS of Sentai falls into this trap.

Kamen rider mach has to be one of the most annoying and insufferable secondary riders.

The dynamic between Eiji and Ankh is better than Philip and Shotaro.
