I was really surprised at how well the ankle joint for Den O Climax held up while taking photos this evening.

it is very satisfying to finally have the complete set, I didn't have a complete set of Shinkengers.

That is freaking gorgeous. Makes my little setup next to my books look pathetic by comparison. :-P

Silicone shock oil is AMAZING. Using mbv07g's instructions on 2005, I got just the residue of oil off the bottle on the tip of a toothpick and applied it to a ball joint thigh so tight it would actually seize in place in certain positions. I couldn't see any fluid transfer on to the joint, but as soon as I started working it around, the joint smoothed out perfectly. Without obtaining any more material from the bottle I was able to fix the other thigh. I could probably do several more figures with the tiny amount of this stuff still on the end of the toothpick.

I wonder what else I can lubricate with this stuff? :D

I have them in the cockpit setup still. I might switch it up to the roll call poses sometime. Looks really good with all the helmets behind them.

Okay, I need help. GokaiYellow's right hip ball/socket is waaaaaaaaaay to tight. I need to get the leg off and shave the ball and socket, but I can't get it off. It's that tight!

Any suggestions?

Taking it apart and shaving off isn't the correct approach. Go on amazon or ebay and buy something called RC Shock Oil. It's a pure silicon lubricant that doesn't react to plastic. It comes in different weights, viscosities, but most people buy 80wt. It'll cost you about $5 and last a lifetime. Then, run a toothpick around the lip area where the liquid has touched, but isn't right now. You just want a little residue, not any actually liquid on your toothpick. Then apply that to the exposed areas of the ball, you don't even have to take it apart, and work it around. It should be fixed after just one treatment and you don't have to physically modify your expensive figure at all.

God damn I am loving Ouja, this is one of the most expressive Figuarts I own. His giant assortment of hands, his excellent neck joint and the character/design all work so well together. The only real problems I have with him are how his arm ports are loose(probably designed to be removed for a future Gai's Strike Vent) and his bicep joints are a bit tight.

Gatack is pretty great too, his joints are some of the smoothest I've had on any of my figuarts. I do need to superglue his right kneecap on though.

Just got Den-O Climax Form in.

His left hip isn't overly tight, but it is giving more resistance than the right and makes a bit of a squeaking noise. Is this the sort of situation where I should try and fix it with shock oil?

Yes, Shock Oil for everything!! Actually if it's not squeaking then don't bother, but if it is, just use VERY VERY little

BBTS just dropped Gokai Pink into my POL :) and they just put up preordes for Fourze Fire and Fourze Elek States.

I really wish my Preorders for Kamen Rider and Black RX would come through. Grr.

And knowing BBTS, we probably won't be seeing Elec States from them till September. :lol

It's not BBTS' fault. Bluefin just yesterday got the solicits for Elec States out to dealers. Remember, Bandai's providing Bluefin the products and they're the distributors. BBTS and other stores can't jump the gun and put up product order pages until they get some info from their distributors.

..."Alternators Wheeljack" BBTS can't jump the gun? Hahaha.

Speaking of SRC, did we ever get a release date for magiking?

I know they're sold out of Kiva Emperor and Decade Complete. I can see them bringing Climax form since he's relatively new and maybe the others. Skyrider should be out in March according to their website. What I'm interested in getting from them though is Sky High and a Fourze(either Base or Elek, haven't decided).

I saw Gokai silver in person today and man his silver is really really shiny! Looks pretty awesome IMO.

Well the preorders for magnet states, cyclone origami, and Fourzes bike ALL went up last night on the big three. All are sold out of course. I haven't been able to catch a preorder for fourze since basestates....

Yeah, the moment I saw Origami on their main page I just knew it's already sold out... I guess I'll just wait for the Blue Fin version
