That's, like... I think the count for PR is at about 200 right now. If that's the case we'll be waiting on Megazords for a long, long time.

Exactly I don't think that would be practical. I'm speculating something will be announced in 2020. I think if they really want to top Bandai America's Legacy line in the megazord department they should release what never was: Shogun Megazord. This time no zord builder ports and is more articulated than anything made by Bandai America. Possibly even releasing a Ninja Megazord that's better equip to handle the Legacy Ninja Falconzord and has better articulation.

I think we'll get 6-inch Megazords in the Lightning Collection line before we get any sort of Lecacy-esque combining Megazords, tbh.

Probably but doesn't mean we won't get both announced relatively close to each other. They'll likely announce Beast-X Megazord or Dino Megazord in the Lightning collection as a standard figure for the next wave. Then sometime in 2020 probably announce the line's first combining megazord. Which one would it be who knows but Shogun is a fan favorite that has yet to have a re-release.

Actually, thinking about it, I could see them making Megazords as technically a part of the line, but separated off as sort of their own thing, probably for a higher price point of $40+ or something. Similar to what they did with Reinhardt in the Overwtach Ultimate line.

Could be. Either way, I'm extremely curious to see what Hasbro has in store for the collectors' market Megazords.

I don't think I'll be able to resist a great Shogun Megazord, no matter what form it comes in.

It would be interesting to see what kind of higher end stuff Hasbro does with the megazords. I have the original Shogun megazord. I would love to have a nicer re-release of it with paint and decal accuracy. If Hasbro really wants to make fans happy they'll make it compatible with the Legacy Ninja Falconzord.

Holy crap that actually looks really good! Way better than the Legacy one, and I like that figure despite its terrible QC issues. Can't wait to get him and pose him on the throne.

Actually, hold on, does Drakkon not come with Saba? I mean I guess that makes sense considering the story and all, but kinda weird considering the Legacy one came with it, and they still bothered to give the Sword of Darkness to the Dino Thunder version of MMPR Green.

Buy an extra White Ranger, give Saba to Drakkon, and put the figure in a storage bin. Problem solved.

Also considering that Drakkon WAS introduced in the MMPR comics it makes sense it has “Mighty Morphin” on the box.

Yeah, Drakkon only comes with the Dragon Dagger. All of them except Red only come with their main blade weapon, actually -- and BM Blue in particular comes with two effect parts; one for his sword and one for punching.

Drakkon is obvious bought. Though I adore that digital effect piece with BM Blue.

So yeah this is another killer wave. That's one more kind of lame Go-Buster Figuart I can replace, a far far better Lord Drakkon than the one we got, a vanilla red Ranger which will be nice after the Dragon Shield one, and a hilariously inaccurate DC Gold but oh well. :lol Still a great wave.

Looks to be another stellar Lightning Collection wave. Think I'm most excited for Drakkon out of everything here.

If I'm not mistaken, next wave was supposed to be MMPR Yellow, Ranger Slayer, SPD Red and and Zeo Blue, right?

In retrospect, I'm very glad that of all "One-Upping Legacy" releases they could have done; they done Drakkon as early as this -- because he was a Convention Exclusive.

The likes of Zeo Gold and Psycho Red in Legacy were, uh, let's just say not very good and desperately needed updates... but at least they'd be costing you 20 dollars and not upwards of 60. From this point forward anyone who wants a Drakkon won't only not have to be disappointed by a below-average figure with loose joints, but also won't have to pay an extortionate amount of money for that disappointment.

If they're really gonna go down and release Lord Drakkon (who hopefully isn't an exclusive), then I want more BOOM! Rangers in the deal: Solar Rangers, Omega Rangers, 1969 Mighty Morphin', Drakkon's Ranger Sentries, etc.

Don't forget Hyperforce, either! Best visual representation is in the Shattered Grid Expansion for Heroes of the Grid, which is hell to find and usually too expensive!

Shame how they love to release something different, but only leave it confined to a singular format half the time.

While that is a good thing in its own right, that doesn't mean a whole lot due to Lightning Collection Distribution Woes!

Look for it at Walmart a thousand times over...and you will find ONE at a neighborhood Walgreen's at a moment when you have no disposable income, so you'll wait a little and go back with the intent to pick him up...and he'll be GONE!

That's more trying to get these figures in the initial month when they've been barely in store. Fast foward several months and there are bunch of them.

Alternatively, order it online from Hasbro. Get it straight from the source.......in the US. Outside of the country it's a free for all.

DC Gold indeed does not have a painted neck or hands. It's also possible the legs are a different plastic color.

Legit feels, I'm in Victoria and I've just been ordering them all online. Wave 1 I got off Amazon, wave 2 and the psycho 2 pack bbts. At this rate doesn't look like we're getting psycho blue or goldar either

I feel like Drakkon is an apology from Hasbro for the debacle that was the last Drakkon figure even though it wasnt their fault in any way shape or form

Drakkon's head being able to stand up on its hair is... really quite terrifying.

Or to draw attention away from DC Gold's lack of paint apps. They are probably testing the boom comics waters. While some people think all Hasbro will do is just rerelease a red mmpr with a Rocky head, I think they know they have to do a bit more.

In regards to the Toy Fair Hasbro interview... geez their PR folks are useless. You asked a lot of great questions that got very little in the term of answers. I get they are mostly there for hype, but you could have had a more informative conversation with a parrot.

Yeah, I expect non-answers for stuff like "do you plan to do this character or that series", because otherwise that signals plans to their competitors; you have to keep tight-lipped about your plans. But stuff like "how did this collaboration with that artist come about"? Like... come on. A little bit more than that please!
