I have a question. Is RAH Genesis sort of like the Japanese equivalent of Hot Toys?

Since I can’t find anywhere else to post this, I’ll put it here. K-Touch 21’s product video.

I wish they'd show what the Grand, 01 and 02 cards do already. I mean I imagine it's not much but it'd be nice to know.
Still! Awesome to see you can do original Complete form and summon all 20 final forms. That's cool |

Still, no news for new RKF. I wonder they will make primitive and elemental in 3 armor pack with the final form...... or RKF no more :( |
That's a shame - RKF Primitive/Elemental Dragon is one of my most anticipated releases ever. I really cannot imagine why it hasn't been announced or even teased yet.
It looks like we will have no RKF releases for March, which is quite a disappointment for me. It also does not look good for the line, either. I don't remember the last time RKF had an entire month where there were absolutely no releases. I can understand that Sabera hasn't been announced yet, since she surely has an auxiliary form or something that still needs to make its debut in the show. |

Why do I have a feeling that they're subtly telling us that there's no more RKFs in the future |
He's saying thank you and being grateful a lot, which in japan terms, is sometimes not a good sign. Them being very polite and all.
We also haven't heard any leaks of RKF releases at all, they'd usually be along with the toy leaks, right? Something going like: Narikiri set RH Kamen Rider RKF |
Man, the wait is killing me. Saber's designs have really grown on me and RKF this year has really exceeded my expectations. I never expected this line to last because the prices drop SO fast, but man, I just want to complete Saber, at least.
The fact we got no releases or even teases for the entirety of March is a really bad sign...though I'm sure we'll see Saber get completed eventually. I'm honestly just annoyed because the newest suits are the ones I'm interested in the most, and I want them in my hands already. Primitive/Elemental Dragon, Sabera, Ice Blades, and Durandal have never made me want RKFs so bad. Saikou and Dragonic Knight had just started giving RKF some substance beyond its motto "it's cheap and it moves". Oh well, time will tell. |

The RKF blog post was just talking about how it wouldn't be doing the weekly updates anymore but that it would be updating at certain times instead. |

You know, I really think that Bandai should release figures similar to their "OOO Combo Change" figures, their "Build BestMatch" figures, their "Ex-Aid Level Up Rider Series", etc for Saber. The only bad thing about the current RKF Figures is that they don't have that ability to mix-and-match different parts to make new forms. The SODO Figures don't even have that ability. And they had that ability in the past. Meanwhile, I really want to see the figures have that ability in the near future. I mean, would you pay more for upscaled figures that have the ability to make your own WonderRider Combos? It just isn't the same with 1 Figure only having the ability to reach 3 Forms (The RKF Dragonic Knight & Wonder Combo Set only had the ability to reach Brave Dragon, Crimson Dragon, and Dragonic Knight). Meanwhile, with Double and Build, even though Build had a way tougher job to do as their figures had to do what they did, they worked extremely well in creating new forms. All they have to do is have the Visor and the Sword Crown be a Separate Piece you attach after you attach everything else. Plus, those Seiken Users who don't use the Seiken Swordriver (as in all except Saber, Blades, and Ikazuchi) could come with extra Parts to simulate using those Wonder Ride Books in the Seiken Swordriver. It would look similar to the Concept Art. Plus, I really want to see what all of them would look like in physical form. I say Blades Lion Pegasus with the Extra Books of either Issun Bushi or Daikengou Urashimajirou could work well as both are themed about water and using them in the official "Flash Belt" (https://toy.bandai.co.jp/series/ride.../encyclopedia/) create combos which look pretty good.
Slightly Off Topic Side Note Start: In fact, looking at each of the Tarou Books, Daishougun Momoichirou (Based upon the same Basis as Momotaros, so I'll call it Momotaros's Basis) and Daikengou Urashimajirou (Based upon the Same Basis as Urataros, so I will call it Urataros's Basis) both look like remolds of other Wonder Ride Books components. Momotaros's Basis's Parts appear to be remolded from the Parts from Bremen no Rock Band and Urataros's Basis's Parts appear to be remolded from Saiyuu Journey. While I think Daiyokozuna Kinzaburou (which was the Basis for Kintaros) is either totally original in design or it is remolded from the Gorilla Fullbottle's Parts. Slightly Off Topic Side-Note End. So, what do you want to be released? |

We had more RKF Build figures than we did in Build's actual gimmick line. Ex-Aid wasn't far from that, either. For what was supposedly the budget line, past gimmick figures were expensive yet they were losing features over time. Ghost, Ex-Aid, and Build's gimmick lines were rising towards 3000 yen. Compare that to RKF, which is literally impossible to buy at full retail price since it's always discounted, or SO-DO, which speaks for itself. I never want to see those releases again. They were a shithole. The only thing they have over RKF and SO-DO, IMO, is that they're 1/12 scale. Those old figures also had pretty decent paintjobs, for the most part. SO-DO has literally done everything better than the previous lines of gimmick figures - which also includes reproducing gimmicks from the shows. You are misinformed/uninformed. SO-DO has an incredibly insane amount of playability even WITHOUT using the "intended" mix and match combos, since they share so many parts. There is no point in starting up another line just for the sake of affordability, when SO-DO and RKF are so incredibly cheap. And trust me, with the way Saber handles its formchanges, there is no fucking toyline in the world that will perfectly replicate what you can do in the flash belt lol |
After watching The Phoenix Swordman and the book of ruin, im getting sadder since we might never seen Falchion and Emotional dragon in RKF.
Saber’s RKFs is the one that motivate me to pass this dark pandemic hour |

Falchion at least would be nice. It's strange, outside of SO-DO months later and I think Sofubi you just don't see figures of these guys at normal retail anymore. You'd think promoting such toys would be half the reasoning behind movie exclusives?

HOOOOOOO BOY, Funasen of the CSM blogs is treating us good today!
Take a look at both Eneiken Noroshi AND Jikokuken Kaiji! Not the slightest hint about when or how these will be released, but they both look amazing. (I've also broken down the post on Twitter, as there's some pretty amazing non-Saber stuff hinted at too...) Source: https://toy.bandai.co.jp/series/ride...l/2040/?t=blog |
I've been wondering something about those. Both Sabela and Durendal have a unique Buckle and holder. If Bandai wasn't planning on releasing it, they would have just given them the standard holder, or the sword of logos buckle. The fact that they made a new one and went out of their way to name it makes me think they're gonna release it. It wouldn't make sense to release it on it's own. It probably wouldn't sell.
But then, which sword to release it with? Which leads to my theory: Noroshi, Kaiji and the Buckle are getting releaed in a single set. If you want one, you need to get both. |

Hey look at that!! I was wrong!
Pre-orders for Noroshi Pre-orders for Kaiji Although no Royal Sword of Logos Buckle in sight. I find that slightly annoying, to be honest. |

Interesting detail in the blog post about Noroshi and Kaiji. Both swords have 2 modes: Their standard mode meant to be used with their corresponding WRBs, and a second "Separate Volume Mode" to be used with other WRB. Basically the second mode changes the transformation and attacks tied to that specific WRB to generic ones tied to the sword's element.(For example, Noroshi's Insect Shot becomes Smoke Strike in the other mode.) I think this is really cool, and makes me wish the other Seikens had it, to give them a little more character. |
Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this but given the absolute radio silence we've gotten on the rkf line since Saikou's release, do you think were gonna get another shake up for the basic rider figure line with whatever comes after Saber?
|
I could see it. Given that SO-DO has been chugging along constantly with both no interruption and in fact constant improvements and expansions since early 2016, I wonder if they might go the Zenkaiger route and have the figures be glorified SO-DOs?

So...is RKF dead? I haven't seen an announcement in some time. Are they gonna focus on SO-DO instead to release the rest of Saber's characters?
