Gokaiger did start with all Reds in its first half but then became "let's get whoever we can get" in its second half

I mean, Zi-O's upgrade form is tied to Decade so if he's coming then we'll see him pop up around December for either the movie or the episodes after the movie depending how they handel Zi-O getting the Decade Ridewatch.

A short cameo can be expected for ZI-O at some point, but a long run presence is certainly out of the question (and I doubt he will be allowed to film fighting scenes) with all what a GARO series asks to his primary actor (which, depending the contract, can forbid him to appear in ZI-O at all)

Since Decade Ride Watch had already been announced for December, Toei must have planned ahead already, right? Like sign a contract with Inoue beforehand to make sure he'll be available for Zi-O. I really hope the Garo spin-off won't prevent him from coming back

The thing is a GARO series is asking a lot to his protagonist. Most of the fight scenes are out of suit and complicated with cables and all, and they don't use body doubles except for extreme scenes that don't use CGI. The actor is busy with not only filming but also martial art classes and battle choreographies.
Depending the contract he has, he might not be allowed to film any other series or movies which can put his body in dangerous situation (even like running only. What if he twists his ankle ?) which would ruin the demanding GARO show.

If it airs in October it may already be done filming. There’s a lot of post-production involved in a show like Garo; you can’t just film an episode and have it ready to air in a week or two.

Maybe they started early on yeah. But it will depend the length of the series I'm not aware of (either 13 or 20+ episodes at least)

Again I'm not really here to crush hope of Decade fans. But be prepared to not see him around for long (if you ever see him)

I hope he appears. It would be too sad to get the decade suit only and not get Inoue back considering his involvment in Toku.

I'm sure Decade will appear sooner or later. However it would be a shame if he's not available for Heisei Forever. It's a farewell film to the Heisei era, Decade should be more than just a suit only appearance

It depends if his contract allow him to appear in other toku series. His last appearance was in wizard. Maybe a voice Clip in suit for actors like kabuto and Kuuga. Gattack might return if they're not after main hero riders since he promote the toys. Since 555 is returning, blade might too consider the cast came back on several occasion and promoted the bluray. Too bad Kiba's actor pass away. 555 is a mess consider they try to tie up his story in several taisen and specials. I'm curious if they're explore the lore of each series. Most of the neo Heisei alumni have a chance to return except for Phillip, drive, and maybe gaim in some extent given their busy schedule and increase fame. I have a feeling decade might be in the movie war movie since midseason power up sometime debut in the movie first and also can be retcon in the series.
