Honestly, the $65 for Omegamon isn't as agonizing at the $75 asking price for Alphamon, though. Though it does make me wonder why Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon were only priced at $50-ish... |
I do have a few of the Digimon D-Arts/S.H Figuarts, I think they are pretty worth it. Alphamon is great, Imperialmon is great and the original Omnimon d-arts figure still looks good next to those two in my opinion. The Digimon figuarts are pretty tall, so the sizes of them are going to make them kinda pricey.

Can't find any comparison pics with Google. If someone could give me a size comparison of Omnimon next to a Rider/Sentai SHF, that would be very helpful. |

I still don't understand why Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon's are cheaper, though. Quote:
They're about a head and a half taller, perhaps a little more. |

ALPHAMON! PLEASE! |

And honestly they are expensive, but they are in the range between regular SHF's and SHMA's and I'm willing to pay that. Omnimon cost's me about 20 bucks more than your usual Web-Exclusive Rider, and I find that reasonable. |
Damn. Just got my Wargreymon in and he shipped on Sunday. That was fast.

I thought about grabbing one too, but I'm satisfied with Omnimon coming up. Also... after Omnimon happened, I rather wait before picking the old D-Arts molds up. Just in case. |

Anyway, just noticed some spots on WG's feet where the toes weren't completely painted. Doesn't look too bad from afar but dear god is that gonna drive me mad just knowing they're there. Still, easily the best Wargreymon figure I've ever owned. Of the three I've owned. |
I'm so tempted to get Imperialdramon and Alphamon since I plan to have at least Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon and Omnimon but I'm not sure I have the space for it. Also the Digimon figures do seem to be exceptionally higher in cost than others.
One thing I can't wait for is to complete the Avengers though. Really like the Iron Man figures so here is Mark 43: http://orig11.deviantart.net/0939/f/...ue-d95urs9.jpg http://pre15.deviantart.net/eef2/th/...ue-d95urrp.jpg http://pre13.deviantart.net/489b/th/...ue-d95ursm.jpg http://pre15.deviantart.net/6e4e/th/...ue-d95urt4.jpg http://pre11.deviantart.net/dc90/th/...ue-d95urqp.jpg |

That's interesting. I wonder if the design changed after Bandai was already working on it, or if they just missed it.

I never noticed that the red on the thighs were missing but at least its not a defect. It's kind of weird that it was left out in the design though. I don't mind too much since its a pretty awesome figure in general.
Captain America is also a fantastic figure though: http://img08.deviantart.net/43f2/i/2...ue-d964zb5.jpg |

Which is a shame for such an expensive figure, especially since even the cheap Hasbro ones have it. But I'm still really impressed with the Figuarts Avengers after the Figma versions let me down so much. Cant wait for Thor next month. |
Finally getting around to doing something with Hulk and Captain America and... Holy hell my Cap's ankles are obscenely loose. :(

The Hulk on the other hand is all around awesome. Tight solid joints every where. One thing I would have liked though is for more range in the neck. He can't really look up very high. Although maybe he doesn't really need to. http://img08.deviantart.net/15e5/i/2...ue-d96e8ub.png |
it definitely needs more neck articulation - i wish it could look up farther. Now the figure is always hunched over. The shoulder also has lots of gaps when u use the full range of articulation
My Cap was fine, but for the same issue that everyone has with then shield handle molded into the hand. the pegs aren't oriented correctly otherwise Cap is awesome, hits so many sweet poses. mid-shield throw, post shield throw, using the shield as a melee weapon, mounting it on the back . . . all well executed |
Hulk absolutely needed better range in his neck. So many ways I've tried to pose him fail utterly because he can only look down.
---- This Battle Droid looks fantastic. http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps9jbzlvrr.jpg Oh and speaking of Omnimon... Amazon still hasn't put up preorders even though Bluefin announced it 10 days ago now ugh. |
I need that Imperial Guardsman. I need two.
|
Shit both SW SHF will be mine
|
Hmm. Now that I notice it, what the hell is going on with that Scout Trooper?
2960... That's way to cheap to be a Figuart or even a ZERO. |
could be the bike only? or the figure only?
|
It's 12,960.

kamen rider bikes are $40, storm trooper is $40. Where's the extra $40 coming from, licensing? |

I wish there was a bike-less option for the Scout Trooper. I like the speeder bike, but I in no way need it.
That said, I'm all over any Imperial Troopers, so I'm getting it. I'm also getting that Movie Realizations Royal Guard, and probably the Boba Fett, and probably the upcoming reissue of the Stormtrooper. All this, assuming I can get the money to do so. In unrelated news, I will be selling most of my Myth Cloth figures. :D And probably skipping the Battle Droid. IDK. |
