Finally lost with my fossils after 3 battles.
Mainly because Yveltal hits like a flaming truck that heals itself every time it runs someone over.

Can't say whether Yveltal or Xerneas is stronger, but I'll admit Xerneas scares me more in competitive play.

Pretty sure Xerneas is stronger, Yveltall is freaking easy to kill online.

Giving Yveltal a Sky Plate makes Oblivion Wing even more scary.

Technically, Xerneas is stronger. He and Yveltal have the exact same stat layout of

Spd: 99

Not taking into account any variables, Xerneas is stronger due to type advantage.

Anyway, for the battle, he actually planned ahead, and I commend him for that. He wasn't playing to sweep me, rather, he was actually playing to outlast Kabutops (Omastar+Rain Dance+Damp Rock for 8 turns of heavy rain, Kabutos's doubled speed with Swift Swim+Swords Dance). Once the rain ended, out came Yveltal to wipe up the pieces :lol

I'm really let down by the whole Mega Evolutions system. It feels like they spent a lot of time hyping this up but it turns out you only get four or five Stones over regular gameplay. All the rest (and a lot of the better options IMO) aren't unlocked until post Elite-4.

Just seems like wasted potential.

Well, just keep this in mind.

The next Gen 6 game (Which, taking Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum in mind, tend to be better than the initial 2), you'll be able to trade them over and start the game with your Mega Baynette/Alakazam/Absol/Gengar/Blaziken/Whoever-ite from the get go.

My only real issue is that too many of the recent Pokemon games have been lacking in post-game content, relying on the most recent iteration of the Battle [Whatever] and the one hidden away Legendary to fill that void (No, I'm not counting running around for an hour looking for hidden Mega stones as "Content." That's like calling grinding the Elite 4 with the EXP share to quickly level a Pokemon content).

Well there is the Looker sidequest, i'll let the lack of content slide this time because 3DS games have a habit of being short.

I, however, am not. I can understand the lack of new Pokemon, but I won't let this slide. 3DS games should be far more capable of content, regardless of how short previous 3DS titles have been.

I know the coda of the Pokemon games, the former tagline of the series, "Gotta Catch 'em All" is still an option, but considering that's currently impossible until December, there really isn't much to do once the Looker quest is completed. They could've at least brought the World Championship back or something.

I think the Trainer Pr videos should have the ability to put songs from your SD card, i know i'd use it. Maybe an Ace Attorney song.

Beat the league. That was fun, but stupidly easy. I take it the gyrados we were on about a few days ago was the water elite four guys? Cus yeah he caused a few problems, didn't kill him quick enough and then his speed and attack where too big. Got lucky with Tyrantrum though and still had Pyroar and Pangoro left.

The ending is pretty damn cool as well. I really do feel that the story is very gapppy (as in full of gaps... pretty sure gappy isn't a word but eh..) It's like very full on and interesting one moment then disappears almost completely then pop up etc etc.. it's like they realized they had a decent story but had no way of stretching over the 35 (or 70 in my case) hours of gameplay...

Still, awesome game with lots of really nice new Pokes. Now to get some megastones and see if I can change my mind on them.

That would never happen, sadly. Nintendo is very much about keeping things as family friendly as they can with Pokémon, and I'm sure there would be a lot of people who would abuse that and put songs with explicit content in them.

Fairies are mischievous creatures that often like misplacing our stuff and and generally being playful annoyances. What's more playfully annoying than a creature that hides your keys and then pretends to be them?

Mr. Mime. I really don't like his design at all, which is a shame considering how cute Mime Jr. is.

This is why I like Klefki, he fits those pixie fairy tale critters that are mischievous and cute. Plus the keys aren't actually part of his body, he just hangs on to them.

I'm just not a fan of it.
Then again, none of the Fairies hit my fancy. While a few of them have nice designs, none strike me particularly as "This being is a fairy."

Flabebe and Floette kind of do. Florges, not so much.

I think what they mean is not so much a literal fairy, but rather magical, mysterious beings.

For magic, Pokemon has Psychic and Fairy types. Psychic represents raw power, and Fairy is more mysterious and incomprehensible. Kind of like a light version of Dark type (which represents mischief and trickery).

So fairies in this aspect covers pixies, gnomes, elves, and all sorts of those cutesy, mischievous critters. I think "magic type" would be a more appropriate name in some cases.

I just wonder why the Flabebe line isn't part grass type. Its got far more grass in its movepool than fairy, and Florges IS a flower.

A 4x from Poison would make her even more fragile, and yeah...that would really suck.

Well it's not like anything has ever been 4x weak to Poison anyway. :lol

I'm glad that Fairy's introduction meant poison is somewhat more viable now.

My point was that Flabebe/Floette/Florges is very fragile. She was always the first to get KO'd on my team, and adding a 4x weakness to poison would've made that worse.

My mind was so convinced it was part grass, i always spam fire attacks at it in hopes it does super effective but it never does.

I almost had a near Eevee sweep in Pokemon Showdown but a damn Crustle messed that up for me. Thank goodness I had an Umbreon with an attack.

On the topic of them, does anyone know the exact time you need in the Roserade Secret Training to get Shiny Stones? I want a Florges of every color and just can't seem to get any stones.

I hear it's a bit random as long as you meet the target time.

I found out that if you receive a foreign Scatterbug in a trade, it'll evolve into the Vivillon native to it's Original Trainer's region. So you could always try that XD

Yeah they do, I already spend hours on GTS looking for them and once I actually finish the game I'll probably spend that much time on Wonder Trade trying for them too :lol

I'm not hopeful unless I either find someone or get really lucky though, the Elegant pattern is EVERYWHERE it seems.
