I fucking hate Carol Danvers. It's entirely due to my first exposures to her being incredibly negative: Busiek's Avengers run and, a few years later, hearing about stuff she did in Civil War. It painted the character in a really bad light and I just tend to find everything about her utterly insufferable since then. I'm honestly curious to see if the movie changes my opinion, but for now I aggressively dislike her.

It's pretty much a given that any Marvel character that's had a major movie in the last few years or coming up is a shoe-in for this game.

I just can't get used to calling her Captain Marvel while the real Captain Marvel gets called Shazam. It's the stupidest thing ever. Personally, I think Carol was best when she was Binary.

I'd expect Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Dormammu Iron Fist and Rocket Raccoon to return for MVCI. I think Vulture, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Daredevil, Groot, Black Bolt and Ultron also have a strong chance to be playable as well.

They showed a silhouette of a guy with 2 face. If you remove the extra pair of glowing eyes, it looks identical to Sigma from Mega Man X, and Sigma's known for infecting robots with the Sigma/Maverick Virus

It's not that she's had some bad stories (like, say, her current role in Civil War II from what I've seen), it's that the really bad stories were my first exposure to the character and those are what created my primary impression of her. I've read some reasonably decent stuff that featured Carol Danvers, but to me she's always going to be the asshole who tried to fly to the moon drunk and beat up Spider-Woman while her daughter watched.

A big selling point of SFV was that all DLC was technically free (Technically because you have to earn it via in game currency. However, considering that, prior to DLC being a common thing, unlocking characters in fighting games was basically hours of grinding through either impossibly difficult modes or winning battles to get points to unlock them, it's not really them holding out on you).

For the X-Men and FF being DLC, I don't mind. If it means fewer odds of running into the cheese tastic Dr. Doom online, then I'm all for it. Fuck that character. Cheap ass piece of shit.
I'm more curious if we'll actually get the FF, though. I'd much rather them bring back Super Skrull and add the Silver Surfer (How he'll fight with his long board, I dunno).

Concerning the X-Men, I have to admit: I'm not really that broken up. Because the franchise started with an X-Men fighter, and the first crossover was X-Men vs SF, the roster has always been bloated by them. Deadpool would be a big loss, though, and no amount of Gwenpool would fill that void.

Yeah, some people (maybe me) still are pissed with Parker after One More Day, or Iron Man after Civil War (though he was written out of character for that).

Also, I've heard that since X-men were one of (if not the) first Marvel characters in a Capcom crossover, they wouldn't necessarily be tossed aside with all that history.

Super Skrull and Silver Surfer would be so great for MvC:I. Can you imagine how neat it would be to see such powerful canon characters wield the Infinity Gems?

While we're on X-Men you gotta have Wolverine, Disney shitfits be damned. If we're on a strict limit then Deadpool and/or Cyclops.

A very well done finale to the Ghost Rider story. Loved the ending stuff that happened with Sky and the news. I'm kind of worried that things are going to fall apart though since Ghost Rider was what was really making this season great. I just don't see how a robot can really hold her own for the next 14 episodes. Maybe this season will be split into three story arcs with both Ghost Rider and the LMD stuff converging into a final arc for the season that deals more with the Darkhold. Hell, I want to see the birth of the Darkhold Redeemers.

Overall though, this season has been stellar thus far. I am surprised it is returning so early in Jan though since I don't believe the show returned until March the last few years.

Literally the only episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I've actually watched (clips online don't count).

Was satisfied, though I won't like I wish Reyes fought some of the guys in Rider form before being sent off. Ah well, he's so well liked he'll probably return.
