unfortunately, they used unshortened mega links, mega is finnicky as the links change over time to prevent people from issuing DMCA claims and such. It sucks, but what can you do?

I recently finished Kyuranger (perhaps obviously) and in the same week finished watching all of Kyouryuuger. Liked Kyuranger okay, really, REALLY had some problems with Kyouryuuger.

A few days ago, I pre-ordered the Live Robo Super Minipla, since I really like Live Robo. But then, I thought, I should go back and watch more Liveman. But before I continue, I need to give a bit of backstory.
Around Halloween, my friend got into Jiangshi films because of Mei's Halloween skin in Overwatch. He recommended them to me, so I recently decided to watch both Mr. Vampire and Spooky Encounters. I absolutely loved them both, and I would consider myself a Jiangshi fan. So anyways, going back to Liveman. My first episode back was 16, and what is it about? JIANGSHI! Toku hero vs Jiangshi is quite possible the best idea I have ever heard. However, as much as I wanted to see Mr. Vampire with toku heroes instead of taoist priests, I knew it just wasn't going to happen, so I just sat back and enjoyed it for what it was - a fun episode of Sentai. In fact, this just might be one of my favorite episodes of Liveman yet. I've gotta say, I love when Sentai (and Rider) dabbles in other tropes and genres. For example, the Dragon Quest-themed episode of Ninninger, or Burai's assault on the city using Dragon Caesar (which felt like a Godzilla movie more than Sentai). |
It looks like my Rider watching is gonna be stalled for a while pretty soon, so I'm taking the opportunity to get back to checking out some more Sentai. Starting with Gekiranger...which I meant to get to earlier, but the fact I didn't was probably for the best. Scrub just dropped like last month.
Watched the first episode a bit earlier. Don't have a ton to say about it but it was alright. Master Kittyface's suit is kind of...well, passable I suppose. |
I have watched first episode of GoGoV today and I'm not really convinced. Everything started so quickly, no much introduction of villians, team is already complete. I can't recall how it was exactly going in Megaranger, but Timeranger had complex beginning and I enjoyed that building of tension.
Well, let's see what next episodes will bring ;) |
Just started watching Abaranger.
I'm less than impressed. Everything moved so fast it was hard to really get into things. It had some moments, like the old dude and the over excited chick failing to morph, but there was just too much for one episode. |
Gekiranger episode 4
Things escalated pretty rapidly in this episode. But, it was pretty cool. Felt like the sort of episode you'd normally get much later in a show, after a lot more one-off MOTW episodes. It shows a certain degree of proactiveness from the villains you don't see too often and that I hope continues throughout the rest of the show. |
That's one of the things I love most about Gekiranger. The villains are always working towards something. While there are occasions where Rio just tells someone to go do a thing, most of the time, they have their own agenda to work towards, and it's really quite fun.

Anyways, saw random eps of Flashman, Gingaman, and Zyuohger. All sentai teams who wear clothes that would make people wonder if there is some cosplay convention happening closeby(sans Yamato/Zyuoh EagleGorillaWhale). :lolol Seriously they hardly get out of their fancy costumes when not fighting.(Although Flashman later on had eps where they started wearing Earth clothes more) |
