Watched the season 1 finale, it was nice, defintely a step up from it's "predecessor" the ticket master.

Wouldn't the Best Night Ever's "predecessor" be Suited for Success?

The SDCC version of Issue 9 I picked up for $10 shipped, so it's not super expensive.
I intended on reading it online, but at the time, the only available scans sucked total ass, with dark pages, slanted scans, and annoying glares.

Anyway, if I recall, The Ticket Master was actually the first episode, which may explain why it's quality could be considered less than other episodes.

Do any of you think the "Power Ponies" is just 1 of 3 vignettes for a S4 episode that has the Mane 6 traveling through different portals to different world since Sunset Shimmer mentioned bringing the Elements of Harmony into other worlds but never spoke about the specifics of what happens when you bring the Elements of Harmony into other worlds?

The problem is that we don't know if there's pathways to other worlds beyond that mirror.

That's not going to stop me from trying. :lol

There are other ways to travel to other worlds, like making giant holes through Keyholes.

Actually, I though the portals would match the worlds. The mirror matched EG because TV-style high schoolers are incredibly vain, hence the mirror, while the horse statue on the Canterlot High lawn lead to a world of kick-ass sentient horses.

You would think with Den-Os ability to do that, they would use them, considering I thought Den-O was insanely popular in Japan.

But the moment a universe is crossed, Decade is shoved into the plot.

Damn. Seeing Decade and actually realizing how bad he sucks, Id so much rather see Momo and friends then see that idiot...

The Return Of Harmony
That was an excellent season opener, it takes all the ponies characterization and uses it in excellent ways, Discord was really entertaining and the way they used Twilight letters for Celestia was simply perfect.

Also Spike is the new Rainbow Dash, so much win. :lolol

I guess I'll report again once I'm done with this season.

Return of Harmony is a lot of fun and the events that went down were great. It brought a smile to my face to see Twilight re-reading all her old letters.

Just re-watched Green Isn't Your Color. Can't believe it took me this long to watch it again. I love this episode! Though I completely forgot how much I love Photo Finish, that pony has "ZE MAGICS!" Now, I GO!

I love Green Isn't Your Color, too. And no, it's not because it's half a Rarity episode.

Photo Finish is such a fun character. I love seeing her. Hell, she even came back to Ponyville just to help fight in a war. She's awesome :lol

Besides, ponies have similar/identical cutie marks all the time. Just look at Aloe and Lotus.

Touche. And Aloe and Lotus are supposed to look similar. When it's two different characters that are nothing like each other that have a similar mark, that's where I draw the line of laziness... Though considering Photo Finish's design I'm pretty sure the animators thought that no one would notice. (But if that was the case, then why give her a cutie mark at all?)

Considering Photo Finish is just Twilight's character model without the horn, I'd normally agree on the laziness front, but since they gave her a dress and sunglasses to make her look unique. I guess they wanted to give her a cutie mark so she wouldn't be a blank flank.

Besides, that cutie mark could be interpreted as a camera flash, so it's not like it's as weird as her having, say, Pinkie's cutie mark.
