well they did have prototypes of mele and rio awhile back so who knows when we are getting them.still am waiting for them to even release the other Super Shinkengers since they were shown as well as Akaranger.I still wonder where is dekamaster figuarts

...and has good QC. But 3000 yen isn't bad even if there is a minor scuff somewhere I guess.

im a noob to the boards, about a year into sentai collecting, and ive just started on Figuarts. Ordered Gokai Silver and Green when they were on sale at HLJ last week and since then another several orders have gone in for sentai and a few Kamen rider figures.

Id love some geki ranger figures as ive just finished picking up the mecha. For all its failings as a show, i really want a Beet and Stag Buster figure just to round out the team (please dont lynch me for saying that)

Welcome! Nobody will lynch you. This board has its fair share of buster supporters. We are also home to the biggest supporter of geki figuarts. So we share the sentiment.

Like Meteor said, no one will lynch you. Plenty of us are holding out for those two, and hopefully a standard Beet J Stag.

I'd buy a GekiRed. Jan is one of the best reds because of the sheer amount of character development he gets.

I'm hoping Akibaranger will give the Colbert Bump for Gekiranger.

I'd love Gekiranger Figuarts, because the show and costumes are awesome.

you know what i want? a putotyra effects set, it's entirely possible for the wings and spikes because they pop out, not sure about the tail though. really they should make a effects set for all the combos since hardly any powers were made into reality

I got him from amiami's preowned section last month for about the same price. He's pretty good. I've got him in my Akiba Red's stand right now like he's jumping at an enemy with his sword.

Only gripe I have is that he's kinda on the short side, but otherwise he's solid.

Went ahead and added a little something to my collection. Picked up the Scorpion Zodiart today. Great looking figure. The sculpt and paint are fantastic, she just looks absolutely gorgeous. I do wish she had a horoscope zodiart switch, but I do understand why she has a standard one (afterall, how many times has she told someone to make a wish on the stars before handing over one of those things?). I wish the cloak was a bit better done, but it's really not that bad, I just worry about breaking the pegs on it. Articulation is great, as expected, but more hindered than either of the other Figuarts I have. Joints seem a bit of a mixed bag for me here, nothing super floppy or frighteningly tight, but they aren't perfect either. Still really happy to have picked her up, I wanted a villain and I love the whole concept behind the Zodiarts, and so she was an easy pick for me.

The cloaks are what really kill it for me on the Zodiarts. I almost wish they had just included some soft vinyl or even cloth for the cloaks. The hard plastic shells don't work so well. Especially on figures like Scorpio since she has so many small parts and featuring poking out from her arms and torso.

The cloak is a superfluous accessory anyway.
I just wish her articulation was good enough to do the scorpion pose she pulled off in that one episode. Loved that.

Why would you display the Zodiarts with their cloaks on?

Because that's how they looked 90% of the time? I know the bodies themselves are more detailed but the suits themselves looked far more opposing with the cloaks on.

I want to buy Virgo because of how good she looks in her Cloak.

You know my problem with Figuarts? It's the same problem I have with 'Masterpiece' Transformers. Bandai claims these are the pinicle of toy design. A new standard, as the box says. If you're going to claim that, or call your toy 'Masterpiece', every single one had better be damn perfect when it rolls off the line. You can't call something a 'New Standard' and then do things like we see. Not matching colors, loose joints, breakage. It just shouldn't happen.

I see where you're coming from with MP Transformers, but something being a "new standard" doesn't necessarily ensure that it's perfect. Just, above the margin of it's competition(which, in the realm of Toku Figuarts, is pretty accurate. Not many other toy lines have made or still make the things Figuarts makes, and none have made all of them).

^Maybe it's because I'm still pretty damn new to this whole thing, but I have been consistently impressed by the entire line.

They are all great figures, better than anything produced to date....but when you have a lot of them you hold them all to a standard. The few nit picky things bother you even more because they are supposed to be awesome. Handle Another Agito, which is a perfect figure IMHO...the Shinkenger Red...Red is better than any US toy....but compared to AA he just feels...lacking

It was so hard seeing all the figures I did see today. Was at my favorite local toy show, and man is the selection good. Emperor Kiva, Tiger, Den-O, Agito, Another Agito, a bunch of OOO figures, etc.

No W anywhere though, would have gone with Fang Joker if they had him. Almost went for Tiger over Scorpion, but I'm more familiar with Fourze and I dig her design. Probably made the wrong choice there, but I do genuinely like the figure I did get.

On the subject of the Geki Rangers, im sure i saw a report quite some time ago with pictures of SHF Rio and Mele, did that come to anything? Ive literally not paid any attention to them until the past week or two (ran out of mecha i wanted to get and im in a TF lull) and now im hooked to reviews. Im not even a big KR fan, im more familiar with the Sentai through PR, but ive ordered several of them.

Is Diend base states worth the inflated price? I kind of want to get all the Riders that appear in the latest team up movies

So fiddling around with Scorpion a bit more, yeah she's continuing to grow on me. The sculpt and paint job is just too damn amazing, and you can get some nice, evil looking poses out of her.

I haven't really had any..complicated suit designs before now. My first Figuart was Black RX..it's really hard to come up with a design any more simple than that. Fourze came next, and while he's got a bit more going on, he's still a pretty plain looking design. This is my first Figuart to really have this level of detail and complexity to the suit design, and I am loving it.
