Ah, cool! Maybe I'll check it out if/when I get a Switch, cause that does sound like my kind of thing.
|
I can't believe Getter Robo Go is getting some recognition besides that Revoltech figure from ten years back. And in Soul of Chogokin no less, what madness is this?!?

I hope it comes with the combat knife.

Oh hey I was just considering getting the Revoltech... and probably still will since I don’t have a lot of vertical space,

Had my first COVID jab today. It hurt a bit.

Jags are never nice to take. Worth it, but ouch!

I'm honestly not sure where I should put this, but I feel like I need to write it down somewhere here.
So last night I was having a dream (which doesn't happen very often anymore) and at some point I got sidetracked from the plot by a library/bookstore. It looked like there was a section full of Kamen Rider novels, though the only one I really saw was some book with Zi-o on the cover. But then I found one that seemed to be a crossover story between Kuuga and Agito. It was called something like "The Death of Agito" and had a photo of a new form for Kuuga. It... might have looked like growing form (I feel like the crown was less pronounced than usual, but my memory is already kind of fading) but both the armor and the undersuit were red and he seemed to be wielding Agito's flame sword. Weirder still, after examining the cover, I noticed an old tv nearby that was showing a live-acted adaptation of the novel that was dubbed in english for some reason. I only saw a little bit of it before I got sidetracked again, but the whole thing, and the feeling like this was some form of lost media made years after the fact, stuck with me through the rest of the dream and even after I woke up. |
I'm thinking about getting into the Monster Hunter games after liking the movie. Should I play World or the new coming out on the Switch?

LOL, made it sound more extreme than it really is. |

I have over 1000 hours on World and I strongly recommend it. I haven't beaten Rise yet, but World is more complete in terms of content. While events still occur every now and then, World is officially complete(with the DLC of course). World also has an event quest based off of the movie, and you can unlock Artemis' armor. If you like crossovers, there's stuff from Devil May Cry, Street Fighter, Megaman, and Resident Evil. If you have friends that'll come along for the ride, it's even better. If not, fret not, a fuck ton of people still play World, even though Rise is already out. The PC version has around 20,000 players playing every day. World and Rise are both fairly beginner-friendly and Rise does introduce some quality-of-life features that remedy some of the issues people had with World. Whatever the case, with Monster Hunter being really the only game of its genre, there is honestly not a bad game in the franchise. If you already have a Switch, you could always try out the Rise demo and see if the game is for you. Even if these games are the best of their genre, it means nothing if you don't actually like the genre. |

It doesn't matter which one you pick, either one would be a great place to start. I've still got all of the post-Iceborne content to get around to (I got the DLC late) and I probably will return to that game eventually, because I absolutely enjoyed World. I'll probably start Rise this week, and from everything I've seen in the trailers, it looks really good. So yeah, either one would be a great place to start, so I hope you enjoy which ever one you decide to go with, since these games are amazing, no matter where you start! Because sometimes you just want a game where you beat up big monster with big weapons, then wear armor and weapons of said monster. |
According to my clock it's 30th March so I am now XIX years old.
Aight, I'm going to sleep. |

I just had a health check-up last week for employment purposes. I found out that I am both obese and have high blood sugar..I mean I admit I have quite a bit of fat but I assumed I was just a bit overweight from lack of exercise. How am I obese and have high blood sugar when I barely eat two meals a day and too broke to buy snacks.
Well whatever I'll probably get myself back to shape eventually. What's important is that I finally found a job even if I'm still in training |

Also, probably depends on one's metabolism too. My younger brother eats WAYY more than me and he's still thin af. |
Yeah that I guess that must be it since I spend almost all day in front of a computer. The only problem now is that my over religious and superstitious mother is overreacting from this and making do a bunch of stuff that I don't think will help. Heck if the obesity doesn't kill me the stress dealing with my mom probably will

I know it can be difficult to imagine, but even just 2 meals a day can be a lot. I have hypothyroidism - more than 1 meal a day tends to be too many calories for me, I'll genuinely feel incredibly bloated afterwards. You've gotta be willing to make changes in your life - your weight gain/loss falls entirely on you, at the end of the day. But high blood sugar isn't something you can just fix by eating less - you'll definitely need to see someone for that. Quote:

Happy April Fool’s Day, CLAMP Day and Fox Day!
|
Yesterday I was out and about and I don't know about other countries but here in Australia, Transformers Siege Megatron is a notorious shelfwarmer. So notorious that they bumped him down from $49 to $25 AUD (from roughly $37 to $18 USD for those in the US). Of course there was no way I was gonna pass this up, especially when I had my eye on this figure for some time (the price was a bit too high for my liking the last time around) so I immediately snagged one with some of my birthday money.
I haven't bought a Voyager figure in some time so I was quite taken aback at the sheer heft of this figure. Being used to the Deluxe class figures, I was used to more palm sized robots. So yeah, Voyager class figures are awesome! EDIT: I found a picture I uploaded here on this thread last December. Should give you all a good idea just how bad Megatron has been selling here. http://www.tokunation.com/attachment...0&d=1608783691 |
Celebrated CLAMP Day by watching the X film. It’s one of those adaptations that can probably be only recommended if you’re already a fan of the source material. The story is certainly rushed and confusing, but the film has good action scenes and the art/ animation is just beautiful. I’d happily re-watch it with no volume. Looking forward to the TV series! (and hope the manga gets to be concluded one day)

Avoided April Fools because going to the post office to send off parcels took so much time I got home after 12! WOO!
