Watched the Ginga S movie today. It was okay. The plot was really rushed and didn't make a ton of sense in places, but the action was pretty good (if full of Sakamoto-isms). I always like seeing older Ultramen come back, so there was a lot of fun to be had here, especially with Zero. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who the actress was that played Arena - it was Arisa Yomiya from Go-Busters. It was a reasonably fun movie overall, but I liked the 8 Ultra Brothers movie more.

Do you guys get tired of the Ultras fighting so many old monsters and very little new ones???
|
I don't mind them using old monsters. When they keep reusing the SAME old monsters it gets kind of annoying.

Speaking of monsters, Crunchyroll's giving us Kaiju Girls.

Finally got to episode 40 of Leo and uh.....wow.

The first Ultra series I was ever exposed to was "Ultraman: Towards The Future". Also known as Ultraman Great from Australia.http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/...aman_Great.png

I'd watch them in this order: 1966 or Max first, then your second choice, Mebius, and finally X. Also recommend checking out Ultra Seven after watching the original Ultraman show, then checking out Tiga or Nexus. Finally, I wholeheartedly recommend Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie after watching Mebius, then following that up with Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial. Both are great back-to-back movies full of toku action. |
