You think Energon was bad? Cybertron used literal CAD models of the toys. Complete with screw holes and ball joints.

Huh... No wonder the Cybertron toys actually transformed the same exact way they showed it on screen.

But on to the Origin, yea that CGI blends in really, really well and those Zaku battle scenes are great.

I also forgot but is there any pics of the gunpla models for the Origin mobile suits? I remember seeing Char's Zaku prototype but I can't seem to find a pic of it anymore.

Expect the animation in cybertron was still better since they could actaully show emotion! also this isn't the thread for this discussion

I actually saw that in gunpla form, some one posted it on tumblr and painted their Amazing Warrior like OP.

Agreed. As cool as the Sengoku Astray is, I don't think it deserved a MG slot over the Fenice.

So I realized today when Former brought it up that I've never shown off my full collection. So here it is. Coincidentally, this is the only time I've really ever used the panorama mode on my camera.

Gundam SEED is actually not bad, I can't say much for SEED Destiny though.

That said...SEED is one of those rare series where if you're gonna watch it watch the english Dub. Kira's Japanese VA makes him sound too much like a wimp,,which he is but still.

my problem with SEED is how the creator's wife had more say than the writers or voice actors.

I don't know the full issue, but I do know one of the voice actor's said something about someone's wife and that person then changed the story to be against that character.

I dunno. it's been a while since I heard the story.

okay, so apparently one of the writers is the director's wife, and here's what apparently went down:

the directors wife who is also the script writer got into a beef with cagalli's voice actor and fired her/drove her away. this also caused her not to return for anything gundam seed related such as srw games.

i liked destiny until kira became the main character again then it pretty much went back to the same formula as seed and i stopped watching

The new Try was alright. Nothing too spectacular though. I just love how our main characters have beyond OP gunplas now that'll let them probably win a fight almost immediately, if not in a few minutes unless it's their rival team or a villain team. Because who wants an exciting back and forth fight?

Also is it just me or does Fumina look younger? It looks like they redid her face or something.
