The only perfection is imperfection. To expect every toy to be 100% problem free is impossible. The difference between Figuarts and say Masters of the Universe Classics is that only 4% of the Figuarts have issues. MOTUC have about 60% and that is a small produced line.

Loose joints suck, but there is no way to truly fix this. It just happens. I haven't had problems with anything breaking, but I do know people who have with the D-Arts line. When a line is mass produced on a retail scale, there are going to be defects. It sucks, but again, that is just the way it is.

Bandai could check 500 Figuarts before they were packaged up and there is no guarantee that it is not going to be number 501 that is a defect.

Dude I've been demanding Aka Red for ages. I hope we either get 2 different ones, 30th and 35th anniversary flavors, or one figure with alternate parts to become either. I'd buy 2 to display both versions :D

We've seen prototype of TyrannoRanger and the Dragon Ranger, no release yet.

We have Tyrannoranger and Dragonranger coming sometime this year. When is something of a mystery.

There is an almost 100% chance that ZyuRanger Figuarts will be brought over, at least that was the impression that I got from Tamashii Nation/BlueFin when I interviewed them

Well, a release for Figuarts usually means BlueFin's releasing it to online retailers and specialty (comic) stores. This generally only applies to Kamen Rider Figuarts, because the rights to Sentai toys are subject to Bandai of America. The Shinkenger ones that came to TRU were brought over by BlueFin, but only because Bandai of America released them as a TRU exclusive. The problem for the most part is that Bandai of America has its set brick-and-mortar retailers, most of which wouldn't be able to sell of Figuarts stock. The Zyuranger stuff has a much higher chance than the rest though, because 20th Anniversary stuff (SRC Daizyujin, Import Shinken-Oh, Collector's Power Morpher) is making its way to TRU in droves.

$35, I think. They got so oversaturated that they're around $25 on most sites now.

When I went there today, my TRU still had loads of ShinkenReds, and a couple Golds :lol

So I got to thinking, they really need to get moving on the Sentai teams and really make it easier to get the full teams. In fact, I think they should do another subdivision of Figuarts, a team oriented series that are multi-packs so people can get a full Sentai team, or even the likes of the B-Fighters and stuff. I don't care if they want to sell the red rangers and 6th rangers separately, but they really need to make it easier to collect them all.

I mean, one ranger buck pretty much works for the core team except for maybe in a few instances (Hurricanger, Jetman's yellow ranger, the MagiRanger girls), so it is just stupid that they do not do that. I mean, look at the KakuRangers. Outside of Ninja White's skirt, all five rangers have the exact same builds. The helmets are really the only thing that changes on most of the teams.

Really? My TRUs have not had anything in about 6 months. In fact, only one of the 3 TRUs around me even carried them. I think if I saw him today though, I would pick up ShinkenGold.

Definitely good news then, maybe I have a chance of getting Tyrano and Drago when they hit the states afterall (I have notoriously bad luck with things like this).

I went to my local TRU after Christmas and the SIX ShinkenReds were missing, leaving the two Golds, which blew me away - the Christmas buying rush finally got rid of them! Then I realized they just put the Reds on a different shelf. They were all still there.

I'll probably buy one of the Golds eventually. I got a TRU Mastercard last fall when I bought Masterpiece Prime so I get the TRU reward coupons every once in a while. Only a matter of time.

wish we got the Figuarts in TRU in the UK... guess im stuck with aftermarket prices, HLJ/AmiAmi and EMS shipping for the forseeable...

I was angry with my TRU when they released the Figuarts. They beat the living snot out of the boxes to the point where they had to be taped up and stuff. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not a MISB Figuarts collector by any means, but I like having decent boxes. I couldn't bring myself to pay 35 bucks for a figuart inside a turd.

So guys...which Den-O SHF do you think I should get first? Climax Form or Sword Form?

This is a tough question. I was only getting the base forms but my eye kept on being drawn to Climax form and eventually I caved. Of the two, it's REALLY hard for me to say which I like better, they're both pretty bad ass.

If I absolutely positively had to choose one, it'd be Sword form. But they're both great imo.

Sword. It's the most famous one from the show, it makes an excellent display piece, and is far less busy than Climax is.
