The box office numbers are pretty low for a lionsgate superhero movies. There might be a sequel, but I don't think they can milk 6 movies if they're not making at least twice their budget. I wonder how well the toys are selling.

China

Only works for MCU, Transformers, and Fast7. It's hard to compete especially non-fans thinks PR as the cheesy 1993 series or what's on Nick now.

China LOVES their CGI mechs, Pacific Rim also performed really well there and like you said, Transformers is popular there despite the films being one of the worst rated movie franchises out there

I guess we just have to wait and see, but Transformers got a lot more actions and it only did good in China like Iron Man 3 by adding Chinese actor in them along with shameless product placements. PR only got Krispy Kreme. Also, I think Chinese was new to blockbuster and was just following the hype of the previous Bay movies. PR don't got these factors unless Michael Bay direct them, but then it'll have a terrible script.
