Got started on W again. The annoying chick(Akiko?) who shoehorned herself into the detective agency was the reason I stopped, and she kept grating on me until I got to the two parter with the Sweets Dopant, and she won me over. I think it was seeing her be equally as obnoxious with the villains that did it. When she was trying to force Mick the cat to eat that food, I just about lost it.

I love Akiko. Always have always will :D

Surprising coming from you. She's the Umeko of W. And I loved the hell out of Umeko, I know you did too.

Yeah, Akiko never really settles down, but she grows on you. Mostly because she stops being genuinely combative with Shotaro and she starts racking up genuine victories with her antics. I didn't think I'd like her either when she started getting bossy, but you know. She's not perfect, but that kind of makes me like her more.

While I don't love the character, I do like her. I also like that, while she's certainly cute, she's not your typical just-sort-of-there pretty-faced female lead like Hina from OOOs, ass-something or whatever she's called from Agito or... wait, was there a female lead in Kabuto?

Also comparring female leads in my head I'm reminded of young Hana from Den-O. FUG-FI-SHI-

And then replace "detest" with "adore" then "always" with "sometimes" then "Akiko" with "golfing" and "have" with "when" and "will" with "sing" and the second "always" with "cats" and "Akiko" with "soup"...

Yeah, I'm not sure why I love Umeko so much. I usually hate that character type, but something about the way Mika Kikuchi played the character just makes her incredibly endearing to me. I think it's because she managed to still feel real and not like an annoying cartoon character.

Oh, am I not being clear? Umeko's the worst pink ranger ever (at least Heisei, I'm not familier enough with Showa). She should never be a ranger or a police officer.

But I digress, that's getting off topic. Akiko can grow on you, but I think it took watching the garbage that is Decade for me to appreciate her. :p

Ryuki 25. Genocider awakens!

This series has gotten SO good. I just hope I don't end up wanting any more figures, I'm already up to wanting 5 riders :lol

KITSubs is finally back from subbing some anime I don't care about and they've released episode 31 of Stronger. It's a good one, but then I'm really enjoying all of the Delza Army episodes so far. It was really random how Shigeru just bumped into a former Black Satan scientist who just happened to have a device that could upgrade his powers, but the payoff was good enough that I can forgive the plot contrivances.

Den-O 37: I wonder if Spiral will ever stop being annoying. I know "annoying' is an overused word these days, but jeez I've had it with that shitbreath. Now he's gone and wrecked everything. He's so dumb and now he's fucked Denliner and lost the pass and aw jeez all this because he's like in love with whatsherhair and we don't even know why.

Also, while I don't like Hana being a child, I'm glad they're doing something with it and tying it into the new line and stuff. For something that was likely unexpected they did a decent job implenting it.

Sorry to double post, but Den-O is starting to irritate me.

Episode 40 is really playing fast and loose with logic. I mean, the idea of Yuuto dissapearing because his past self was killed makes sense, that's for sure. But once all the damage was undone he didn't ome back because, and I'm quoting here, "Neither (Hana) nor (Rowboat) remember him from this time."

Radical Man stared at him for fifteen minutes, of course he remembers him. YUUTO WAS HIS SISTER'S FIANCE. HOW CAN HE NOT REMEMBER HIM? And why is it that it has to be Hana or Roaming Gnome/ Because they're singularity points? WHAT DOES BEING A SIGNULARITY POINT MEAN? I thought it meant that, no matter how much time is altered, they will always exist. Which makes sense. So what does that have to do with dark-haired Yuuto dissappearing from time randomly? The other explanation is that Yuuto has used too many cards... but he never used a card this episode, so why would he dissapear now? If each card represents someone who remembers him, then how the hell does that work if he never used one in 1993? And holy shit he must have just been transforming for the simplest little things if EVERY ONE IN THAT VAN (which by the way, must be a fucking clown car) HAS FORGOTTEN HIM.

This show loves taking advantage of time travel for fun images and cool twists, but has absolutley no logic to it, and when it does exaplain how things work, it then contradicts it's own made-up rules.

It makes no sense. Time travel doesn't usually make sense, but films and TV usually manage to follow their own rules. That's basically what suspension of disbelief is, if a show says "if you travel back in time and do this you endanger your own existence" then that's fine, even if the science behind it doesn't line up. But if the show then never sticks to it's own explanation, that's not fine. It's bad. For example, I still don't understand how defeating and Imagine restores everything it's destroyed, but that's what the show says should happen and it's stuck to that this whole time, so I can believe it. This... this I cannot believe. It makes no sense. Tons of people remember Yuuto, what about his parents? What about his TEACHER? He's RIGHT THERE FOR GOD'S SAKE. The teacher wasn't even injured in the attack, whats his excuse?

Den-O is good at what it does best. And that's being entertaining on a two-episode basis. But then it tries to make plot happen, haha no.

So my friends have showed the first episodes of both Kamen Rider Fourze and Kamen Rider Wizard. I was wondering what would be some other good Kamen Rider series to get into?

Black, Kuuga, Agito, W, and OOO spring most readily to mind. I'd also suggest Hibiki, too, if you're up for something really different.

I'll look into those and see what interests me. I'm up for anything right now.

Kuuga and Agito can feel a bit dated but they are good shows. Agito especially. Same with Black though it's much older than Kuuga or Agito. W I've always found to be average with some good light hearted fun. OOO was a fantastically fun ride all the way through.

W and OOO are the best I've watched, W being slightly better for just having much better characters all around and a more focused plot. Granted, I haven't watched more than five shows, which isn't a heck of a lot but still. I'm not quite done, but Den-O's good fun. I couldn't finish Agito or Kabuto. I got tired of nothing at all ever happening.

That's a legitimate surprise. I've yet to see Agito, but that's usually the series everyone lathers in tongue baths.

Then again, hype is a fickle thing, and the sole reason why I've yet to watch Agito is because I know it can't live up to it's massive hype.

I started giving Decade a try over the weekend. I've gone through the first 5 episodes, and so far I'm enjoying it.
I'm liking the differences between the alternate worlds and the real worlds that I know, plus it's been a long time since I watched Kuuga or Kiva, so it was fun to see those suits again, even if the characters aren't exactly the same.

Planning to alternate Fourze and Decade story arcs until I finish Fourze, then I'll probably replace it with Faiz, been wanting to see that want for a while now. And throw in Wizard every now and again so I don't get too far behind.

I don't follow hype with toku. Any kind of hype is from myself, so I'm usually never disappointed. I still need to try and get passed the first couple of episodes of Hibiki. I did start Kabuto the other day. 5 episodes in so far and I like it. With there being so many riders in this show, I'm hoping/expecting another one to show up soon.

My friend was telling me about Decade, I am intrigued in that one too. I'm going to look for some episodes of a few of the ones mentioned and go from there.

I've pretty much caught up on Wizard. I liked the School infiltration episodes, Beast Hyper's cool, I'm liking Sora/Gremlin more than Pheonix probably because he has a plan other than destroy everything. I've just got the latest episode when Infinity shows up now.

Man I just hate Gremlin. I hate his actor, his mannerisms, that stupid giggle, that goofy fedora. I just can't stand that guy. I hope he gets knocked off before the end of the series because I'm already tired of listening to him.

Good luck with that. Gremlin is looking to be the main villain who manipulates everyone in the shadows.
However, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's a red herring who isn't as strong as he thinks he is.

Den-O 41: So Deneb pooped candy, right? That's what that scene implied when he stumbled back with candy leading to him? And then everyone picked it up and presumably ate it, huh?

Well, you know. America makes a fart joke and everyone's all digusted and stuckup about it, Japan has a monster guy shit candy and has people pick it up and eat it and it's a free pass.

42: Also, man that ep was going pretty good until... that fight. It's like wow, this is really emotional and kind of heart-breaking, and then BAM fucking dragons made out of tracks and all the trains smushed together and what the hell show. That was probably one of my favourite eps until that point. Also, is the show trying to say that Liner Form's track is the same track the Denliner rides on? That doesn't even begin to make even the most basic sense. That's like if my finisher was me picking up my house and smashing someone with it. Yeah it's cool, but now I'm homeless.

Blade 28. This Shima, he's pretty cool. Even though he's an Undead he's pretty nice and really wanted to help Mutsuki out. Now to see if it really works. But my favorite part of the episode is when Shima called Hirose beautiful and Kenzaki and Kotaro's reactions were "beautiful...where?". Damn those guys, Hirose's quite pretty!

Den-O 44: I've noticed a theme with these last ten or so episodes: decisions. People deciding for themselves and respecting those decisions. Now Rolling Stones has to respect the Imagin's decisions.

Also, when I was looking for SIC figures on Mandarake I came across sold out listings for G Den-O and "New" Den-O. Without spoiling events, what are these suits, and do they appear in the show?

I love Gremlin, his Actor, his voice, his outfit, his Phantom. I love him and everything about him.

They do not appear in the show. G Den-O is from episode yellow of the Cho Den-O Trilogy. New Den-O is from the last Den-O movie. And also appears in the Trilogy as well as Let's Go Kamen Riders.

Ditto to what Sentai said. I like Gremlin. It's that childish playfulness that makes him really eerie. Plus he's green. I can't hate anything/one that is green. That's almost a rule for me now.

His absolute best moments are him trolling Medusa. And Haruto. And Nitou.. Basically every scene where he's trolling.

I'd hardly call what Guremurin does "trolling".

What order do all those movies happen in? Do they happen during, or after the series? Shame I can't find Let's Go in English on youtube.
