You missed the part where I said I already bought Blue. Besides, why give me links to them when I'm going to buy the 5 pack? I'm not a cutomizer, so I have no need to buy Red.

Also, I have no desire to own Lost Galaxy Red. So there's that.

Might pick up the box set, always liked the Psycho Ranger design.

Also how many people are going to buy a set of just Pink, Yellow and Black? They'd run into the same problem as Bandai and their non red ranger sentai packs which undersold consistently it seemed.

You're missing the point.
If you want the five pack and don't have red or blue (I know you said you had Blue) then great, the five-pack is perfect.
But for those that did buy Red and Blue, their apparently terrible sales (which I find pretty funny given how everyone was apparently clamouring for the Psychos) suggest individual releases of Yellow/Pink/Black may never happen. So yeah, it is a huge middle finger to buyers.

The situation was of course Bandai already release Psycho Red/Blue/Black with green/silver as exclusives. Red/blue were the first release and you could(and still can) buy them when these two LC figures came out. I can see why not everyone rushed out to buy figures they just purchased maybe even earlier that year.

Now what are essential figures is in the eye the beholder. Some people feel every permutation is essential.

At the very least let's see what Hasbro actually announces. They may not be deaf to the situation and have already planned for it.

Wow it seems they fix one thing and another problem emerges. I just got my Blue Ranger from Amazon.... no two tone plastic this time around but the diamonds/teeth on his chest are spread a little too thin... its almost looks like a light blue instead of white... mostly noticeable when next to his other MMPR teammates. Also the white on the gloves and boots have a dirty yellow hue to them...

I get that these are 20 dollar figures but whats it going to take to get some consistency and quality control at hasbro?

the Psycho Ranger set has been found at retail in Malaysia.

Retail price is apparently 450MYR (that's about $105 USD).

I gotta say that looking at the entire team like that....they look awesome. Can't wait to add Psycho Green to the mix!


I'm also just now realizing that Psycho Black's collar was gold whereas everyone else was white. Huh.
