Still no Buster, Kenzan, Calibur & Slash in there...

Seeing this just makes me realize how lopsided the books are in regards to how many are stories and how many are animals and mythical animals

It seems like aside from Buster and Calibur using mythical beasts as their base forms, the non-story books are only there to fill out Saber, Blades and Espada's combos.

I think it's because from a suit design and toy marketing perspective, the stories are the ones that work best as new forms for Touma to try out. You'll notice he's the only one who ever uses books outside his own set.

Almost like this show has too many toys to sell or something...

Eh more like it wouldn't be fun to do all the concept art matching with Riders who can only have their arms changed. Or in Calibur's case, not at all.

That's why we've only gotten Saber, Blades and Espada, because the whole point of that site is to mix and match.

Well yeah, but the Raccoon and Quail techniques lend themselves to Animal Books for Kenzan, and it's not like the roars of beasts mythical and otherwise wouldn't help a sword that wields sound.

I'm thinking. Since Calibur knows something larger is at work, what if Kento's dad and Ex-Saber are actually working together? Ex-Saber asked Hayato why he defected, and Hayato explains it to him which makes him defect as well and take over as Calibur.

Wait if Calibur was a good guy originally why is his sword/henshin device all about eeeevil versions of the books
