It usually takes me about an hour, hour and a half to finish a high grade now.
|
If it's a new HG kit I've never built before yea give or take 45mins-Hour.
MG varies depending if they have a huge backpack or wing back and it'll be 2-3 1/2 hours. Though I doubt my fast building skill would be match up to a PG kit :lol |
Theres no rush for me. I like taking my time to make sur I do everything right and to detail the parts i can
|
It usually takes me two and half to three hours for HGs. I take my time and make everything look pretty. Sexy Gundams don't just appear.
|
I think if there was ever a time I would take my honest and earnest time on a gunpla kit it would be a MG Build Burning if that was to be made soon or later
Then I'd buy a second MG Build Burning and quickly build him for normal plasky mode :lol But really the only time I had to take a fair amount of time was RG Exia with his damn cables and his head. |
|
Neat, wish I had a stand so I could have my first Build Burning doing a Rider Kick.
|
Yeah i ordered the stand with BB. Need more though for my other gundams though lol

Transient gundam due out for April for the price 1,900 Yen... Which is some what expensive for a HG it better come with a stand to balance out that price or just be a really good HG kit.

Transient Gundam release? My hands are ready.

The new Try Fighters episode was ok, but something felt lackluster about their new suit debut. It felt like a copy and paste of their final battle in the qualifiers, only an slimmed down op version.
I get that they wanted to show the power of the new suits, but they could have done it slowly over time. Most of the episode was the entire cast "keeping secrets" about their teams and Gunpla yet in the battle it seems like they used everything right away. By the end, I was seriously more excited to see the new opponents suits than I was the Try Fighters upgrades. I'm seriously hyped to see how the 3 man SD team fights and transforms and I'm overly hyped to see the English fighters Full Cloth Custom, just to see what he did to it and keep my fingers crossed that it gets an HG and/or MG release. |
1900 yen isn't expensive at all. In fact it's pretty much the going rate for HG kits before sites like Amiami and HLJ put a discount on them.

So, anyone else think that an HG Gunpla The End is pretty much a guarantee now that we've gotten both it's teammates?

Amazing Red Warrior, and my Extra lightning just arrived!

Well a simple idea has turned big. I recently had an idea to hold a "Annual Tokunation Gunpla Battle Tournament" here for all the Gundam fans. The tournament would follow the standard rules of Gunpla Battling and the new rules from Try. Teams consist of only three people, with up to three units - be it mobile suits or non-mobile suit support unites. More rules will be laid out when the tournament is finally official.
So... does any one like the idea? And if so, who would like to participate? :) |

How exactly would that work though? |

Actually yeah, how is any of this going to work? This isn't like an IM or chatbox where you can do stuff in an instant like a real fight. It's a forum that can be slow, down, etc. So yeah...I can't say I see this working all too well.

Plus...it would be a competition about custom Gundams. Even with rules in place there's nothing really stopping any of us from making our creation as OP as possible.

Same with the characters. The Gundams would need to be handled like D&D Characters with skillpoints etc. |

Mejin Kawaguchi!
Gundam Amazing Red WArrior! Go! .... This kit is packed... and I mean packed with a full arsenal of butt whooping gunpla. First off the kit it self, very basic and simple build not much of a shock considering he is based off of a RX gundam. I didn't notice but his colors are actually two tone red, and the dark red on the plastic really brings out the more brighter red (come to think of it, this is the more dark red that the Sengoku Astray kits needed). He's very solid and sturdy even with two large weapons on his backpack he can hold up. As for the accessories and weapons... He comes with a missle launcher, a rifle, his blade rifle which you can switch out for a larger blade, another rife, and another rifle which you can change into a machine gun, you can also combine the larger rifle (the one on his back) with his smaller rifle that can change into a machine gun. On top of that he also has 4 beam saber effect part for his wrists, and if that isn't enough he also has hidden vulcan in his chest and on his waist. So is he an amazing kit? He's not epic by any means or grand in design like the other BF Try kits, but what he makes up for it is the play ability and the amount accessories he comes packed as just a gunpla kit. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...6a5f2d183c4f81 https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/...77&oe=5521D507 https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...7206b56d2e889e |
Hmm... even though I still dislike the kit proper, I might pick up the weapon pack sometime.
