I would love new adaptations of both Dragonball (ALL Of it though, not just Z) and Yu-Gi-Oh! done that are fully accurate to the manga, not needlessly stretched out, and no filler. I bet both series could be done around 100 episodes.

I'd love to see a reanimated or compiled OVA series based on the original the entire original Yugioh manga including "season 0". No filler, no drawn out battles, just pure awesomeness.

Yep. In fact, I watched the first 9 episodes of Season 0 yesterday and my god they are boring as ****!!! Or maybe annoying is the better term. Either way, I really hate Miho with a passion as she brings nothing interesting to the table other than giving the writers an excuse to make Honda a freaking moron rather than a bully. It made no sense having Ushio beat him up when he isn't a bully in this show. And then they go and make unnecessary changes to the stories adapted from the manga such as turning Jonouchi's old gang into a bunch of YoYo thieves and people who use YoYos to beat people up. I preferred the whole shock sticks stuff from the manga.

BTW, I have been reading the manga over again (am on V5) and I forgot how horrible of a city Domino is. Adults who beat the snot out of children! Every other person is some type of criminal! Children who use chloroform to knock out girls so they can rape them. WTF?!

Just watched the first episodes of Soul Eater Not! and Disk Wars Avengers.

I'm not a huge fan of Soul Eater since the original series progressively got worse and worse, but I can't deny that I felt nostalgic seeing all the old cast and that creepy sun again (I still hate Black Star though). The new characters are pretty generic slice-of-life, but I'm looking forward to the next episode nonetheless. I had NO idea Death City was meant to be in America though :lol

Meanwhile Disk Wars was so "generic boys anime meant to shift toys" that it hurt, but it still turned out to be a lot of fun and a clear effort was made to get the characters right. They nailed Tony Stark (although seeing him without a moustache just feels wrong). I love how obvious it is that they gave the characters as American sounding names as they possibly could :lol

Grossly overrated right?

The original manga is definitely not the slightly fun story we grew up with in the show. I remember when I first read one of the original volumes I was in shock. The characters looked different, there was violence, they swore. I lost my 8 year old mind reading it. Of course I loved every minute of it and I consider the original 7 volumes one of my favorite mangas of all time.

watched all of Madoka Magica on Netflix yesterday. all I can say is wow did that get fricking dark. it is definitely not your typical magical girl anime. it was well written and the visuals for witch fights were unique. had a nice yet slightly bitter ending. the emotional build up in it was amazing and got me feeling. that kyubey with the soulless stare was definitely an ass.

Time to tune in to Soul Eater Not episode 1, this is gonna be fucking crazy :lol.

Yeah, but my favorite arc is and will always be the Memories arc. I am just a nut when it comes to Egypt and everything around Egypt (which is one of the things that drew me into the series to begin with) and this is just oozing with Egyptian themes, mythology, and designs. Hell, even the anime version tried to make some of their sound like it would have come out of Egypt.

Yea know what you mean with yugioh. When I looked up Dragonball there hardly any filer episodes it was just mainly in episode filler that dragon ball had but z different story.

Soul Eater Not episode one in a few short words, AWESOME & WEIRD :lol. Also main protagonist turns into a halibard, watch the episode for yourself to see what the hell else happens, that is all :lol.

I had watched some more of the Season 0 episodes to Yu-Gi-Oh! and got really annoyed so I jumped up to the Death T stuff, which was even worse. As a manga adaptation, there is nothing here outside of the characters and an idea left. As just an anime, it is flat out boring. I'm done. I'm just going to move onto rewatching Duel Monsters now that I have finally found fansubs of the entire series.

Odd really enjoyed season zero I just was annoyed in some of the dark gMe changes. And I watching g yugioh dual monster subbed as well

The whole "fun^10xint^40=Ir2" thing from Chaos Head still boggles my mind. From what little info I was able to gather it says that fun and intellect can be used to do something or other, but I doubt my anti virus will be able to handle the sites the answer is on.

I watched the first 10 episodes to Duel Monsters today and the series has been pretty nice to revisit after a 6 year break. The music remains to be fantastic. The only downside is that even though I got 10 episodes down, I still have 214 to go. UGH!!

funny thing is Miho was made by Toei and so was Season zero and Bandai did make a card game based on the dual monster featured in manga and season zero anime. plus season zero was all done by toei 4kids version that was TV tokyo/nas version is it own show hence why she was not in it plus she was not in the manga

Zeta Gundam 13-15

So the AEUG is trying to haul ass and get back into space after what happened last episode. While not a lot happened, 13 was a nice focus episode for Quattro. We learn a lot about his view on certain people and the situation.

Episode 14 pretty much was an Amuro heavy episode going on about how he served his part and was stuck where he was,and oh booh ho Amuro. You're 23 and you piloted a giant fucking robot and probably receive benefits from the government, get over yourself.

The Amuro rescue scene at the end of the episode felt kinda awkward as limited by the old animation. And Quattro is Char Aznable. Big fucking surprise (sarcasm).

Episode 15 was a pretty heavily focused Katz episode and how much of a child he is even compared to Kamille. At least Kamille doesn't fuck up in combat to the point of getting his Mark-II stuck. Kamille talking some shit at him really shows how Kamille has grown but that's kinda relative to Katz at this point.

I don't know what the hell is up with this Cyber Newtype thing but I'll ride along for now.

Is it worth getting the new DBZ Blurays?

I'm talking about the ones that come in the new slip covers. I saw them at wal mart, and for $30 I'm very, very tempted to just get them.

I really don't know as I'm not one to by Blu Rays. When it comes to DBZ, I just have those orange boxed ones from a few years back.

No, she actually isn't. She is featured in the chapter with the ugly teacher lady as she is Honda's love interest and he has Yugi write a message on a puzzle for her that they stick in her desk.

Some of my favorite tracks are Ancient Egypt, Priest Akunadin, Destiny, Theme of Rafael, Fang of Critias, Battle of God, Munasawagi, and God's Anger.
Honestly, no, they aren't. The covers are awesome but they are cropped into 16x9 and there are details are missing.

The Japanese version of Yugioh blows the 4kids version out of the water.

And I'm not trying to be a 4kids hater here. Yeah the 4kids dub is nostalgic and all but there's voice actors. The energy that they bring really does help make the duels more epic.

The Japanese version is superior by leaps and bounds. For one thing, the stories are actually pretty damn good.

Watched Madoka Magica The Rebellion story again, and I caught Mami ribbon going on Homura right before she interrogates Bebe.

Zeta Gundam episodes 16-19

So Kamille manages to not get back into space..... again. God damn it bad timing! We get some kissy kissy between Amuro and the new blonde chick. By the way, this blond girl's a bitch for asking Kamille to give up piloting the Zeta gundam.

Episode 17 sets up this character named Four and her emotional struggles along with some Amuro shenanigans before.... HOLY SHIT A GIANT FUCKING GUNDAM! The first fight between the Mark II and Psyco Gundams was in broad daylight unlike the movie. But oh my god, giant lasers and a flying giant black box mode, shit this thing is scary.

Episode 18 was about the shitty situation the AEUG was put in. If they didn't give up the Audhulma, somebody was going to die, whether it was the people of Hong Kong or the hostages. I like how the Titans had a threat if the AEUG tried to leave. But all is safe and sound as the hostages are saved at the end of the episode, including Amuro.

Episode 19 was the big Four episode, showing that she has no memory and really really wants it back, but also wants to find someone that understands her.... like a Newtype. Shit, the Psyco Gundam fucks with your mind if you're a cyber Newtype but you're the only one that can pilot it anyways. And innocent people get killed either way if you go crazy, follow orders or don't get in. What the fuck?

This may become one of my favorite Gundam story arcs just as the brutal actions of the Titans and the innocence of the people they're using come to a metaphorical head with Four Muramase.


I like Four, she really is trying to find out who she is and her only understanding comes from Kamille, so of course she's gonna latch onto him. I feel really bad for her, and knowing how she turns out from the movies and the fact the debut of the Zeta Gundam is 5 episodes away, I can't wait for the emotional pull this show is going to pull when it comes time for her death

Kamille really manned up during this arc. He didn't complain or take major shit from anybody but still respected orders. He only got slapped once.

By all are you including GT? I assume not from the rest of your sentence. I would love to see them remake Goku's story up to a certain point. Definitely don't want to go through the GT stuff again.

GT does not count as cannon so when he said all he ment all of original Dragonball and z due to they have manga.
