Personally, I wouldn't mind if he kept being able to fight evenly with the others despite never getting an upgrade, since it's consistent with how he's been portrayed so far (remember, when the ForceRiser debuted, it was seriously overpowered compared to what the other Riders had at the time) and it would make him menacing in a way that's good for villains. Especially if he made some comment about skill making it not matter if his opponent had a technically stronger form. "Even in battle, you rely on tools to save you. But tools won't help against the superior learning abilities of a HumaGear." Something like that.

I've been thinking this. With the state of emergency in Japan regarding the virus, There's a high chance the summer movies of both Zero One and Kiramager are cancelled. So when the Rider team up will happen in December, what are the chances they'll do a Decade-Drive team up structure of essentially 3 mini movies in one and have the summer movie plot be the Zero One section.

Zero. If theaters aren't open by then it's more likely they'd just reduce them to V-Cinema (if they've been shot) or cancel them (if they were never even shot). The next Rider will be the priority, so they wouldn't shaft them by reducing their movie like that (note that in the single story format, the current Rider always gets more focus in the story with the other Rider being a plot device or mostly along for the ride).

The single story format has also resulted in box office growth (aside from Reiwa First Gen, but that was also the first one without older Riders in addition to the main two), while the Movie Wars were seeing decreasing box office.

Well with Kirameiger they could just postpone its movie and release it as a double bill with the next rider's winter movie. Zero-One's movie however seems like it'll be a wash since Zero-One only a four months left.
