You can be a good guy and use dark-based swords. Anime has plenty of 'em.

But yeah, the Calibur belt is weird in that it 'corrupts' the WRB that is inserted.

I'm writing this minutes after it happened; has anyone here (who owns a SworDriver) ever experienced it randomly flashing red for a minute or so? Mine just did after I scanned three books, then randomly resumed working like normal. I was wondering if any of you guys know what it means.

Is it an indicator that I need to change the battery, or have I somehow accidentally previewed a light-up pattern for a future upgrade item?

I don’t have the SworDriver, but experience with other Drivers indicates to me that you probably found a future pattern. So congrats if so!

I've kind of been assuming he only became the Swordsman of Darkness when he betrayed everybody? We've yet to see a flashback of him before the big incident, so I don't think it's yet out of the realm of possibility he used to have a less ominous gimmick at some point. I think it's because his Driver looks so distinctly crude and simple that got me thinking that way? It doesn't seem to me like it would've been created in whatever fashion everyone else's gear was.

But who knows, I'm probably overthinking it. Maybe he's like Dark Ghost and the universe was just kinda expecting him to turn evil eventually. :lol

We'll just re-use Belial Early Style all over again!

See, it's funny, because the other thing that got me thinking this way was noticing how Calibur's design, broadly speaking anyway, is just Saber's with a bunch of bits covered by extra armor that's been bolted on, which reminded me of Tregear. Maybe Calibur's Dragon was a whole lot less Jaaku before that helmet got slapped on it, is all I'm saying. :lol

I'm open to that idea. Like you said hints of Tregear, and to add to that when Hikari was in his Tsurugi phase.

Jaouh Dragon kinda supports this as well with the bolted armor theme removed for more ornate gold armor. And Cailbur's eyes being fully shown and is the same shape as the black flare thing behind the silver mask.

Maybe we'll see a Unjaaku dragon somewhere down the line.

Also, who was the previous Espada? Unless Espada is actually a newly developed rider for the Swordriver specifically for Kento. Just thinking cuz I want Kento to use Calibur at least once.

Even if the "evil" parts were bolted on after he betrayed SOL, he might have still been the Swordsman of Darkness using a different driver and weapon back when he was still good, as a "dark is not evil" type of character. Although if that was the case, someone really should have kept a closer eye on him...

It could also make sense for Kento's father (IDK if he's the same as the current Calibur, the wiki says there's a second user but I forget if that's been confirmed yet) to have been the previous Espada.
