Finally upgraded my camera and was testing it out. Didn't really do too much in terms of light set-up and everything as it was just a quick test. Turned out pretty good.

Shelby arrived in the mail today. And she has problems. The joints aren't loose, she isn't missing paint aside from her weapons. The problems she has stem from how @BandaiAmerica designs the toys for female rangers. We'll begin with her skirt. It's so tight she can't move her thighs, so the only poses you can do involve her being starke upright. So, much like the Yellow I have from Megaforce, she also falls at the drop of a hat. Because not only is she upright but her feet don't naturally rest flush with the ground. Then we come to her design. The boys of the group all look like"Bro, do you even lift megazords?!" and Shelby... I saw how she was proportioned and instantly thought "Damn. Puberty hit that plastic hard.". Other than those flaws.. I like the figure. Feels solid, good paint on the figure itself. Just wish I knew what Bandai was thinking when they thought she needed a skirt that stiff.

Picked up a good portion of the Imaginext MMPR stuff! I dunno what it is about this Imaginext line. I love every bit of it, and adding Rangers to the mix only makes it better.

But especially Putties.

The fact that you can put the Ranger's weapons together is rather cool in and of itself.

So...if there's a Pink Ranger, is there a Pterodactyl zord for her as well?

And Green Ranger? Imaginext Dragonzord would be pretty cool to see.

The Pterodactyl Zord doesn't appear to be a part of this wave, for some reason, but I don't see why they wouldn't have it planned. So far, the Green Ranger/Pink Ranger set is the only one with figures that don't currently have vehicles.

As for the Dragonzord - they had BETTER make one! The Green Ranger figure doesn't have his Dragon Armor, and I have to imagine that the only reason they would do that, is to release an armored version with the Dragonzord. Otherwise....I have no idea why he's missing his armor.

I saw some pictures of a White Ranger with the White Tiger Zord and a two pack of Zedd and smaller Goldar, but they were just in a quick google search without any info as to when they're being released. I'll have to investigate some more.

He may be missing it as a cost-saving measure, but that makes sense too.

There's already a Dragonzord out (Legacy). It's in scale and it's totally show-accurate.

Honestly, if we'd had things like Imaginext Power Rangers when I was growing up... Well I don't think things would be that much different, but still. How awesome would those have been?

I thought that, at first, but I noticed that the Megazord playset comes with a Red and Black ranger wearing the Dragon Armor, so they made and produced the mold already. Only other thing I can think of is a future Dragonzord set with an armored Green Ranger, at least, I hope.

This, exactly! The high-end collectables are absolutely fantastic, but not so much my thing. Especially since these Imaginext sets ended up looking so close to the source material. They're a lot lighter on my wallet, and I won't feel scared to pull 'em out and play with them with a possible future kid of mine.

I seriously can't wait for those Imaginext toys to hit the UK. They look so fun! :D

Am I the only one that realized that the Imaginext Rangers' outfits are the Movie's outfits? Minus the coin on the chest.

I pointed it out in my little review, but yeah, I thought that was an interesting choice! Probably to make them a little more interesting beyond the smooth spandex suits. Makes me wonder if, down the line, they'll eventually make sets with the movie Zords. Though, I guess that would be redundant, since they would just be packing the same figures with them.

In any case: I'm looking forward to whatever they can toss at us!

Oh, I noticed it, but wasn't quite sure.

I bet if they DO make PR Movie toys (and honestly, I'd prefer show accurate to movie accurate) versions of the Falconzrd and Ninjazord, that the included figures wither will be done in metallic/shiny plastic or chrome to replicate the 'movie' figures we got in the original toyline.

Ugh, man, I'd totally buy 'em, too. I'm a sucker for that metallic SHEEN.
