There's a knock off of everything. But the only ones I know of for Figuarts that were widespread enough to be talked about by others are for Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon. I don't think I've ever seen a knock off Rider Figuart.

However, I really doubt there is one of Tiger of all characters, especially not one that looks to be spot on to the actual figure (the aforementioned knock offs lack articulation and paint compared to their real counterparts). I really can't see what's wrong with the feet based on the picture at all. They look completely fine.

To the height issue - well, somebody else with both could help compare, but maybe he really is just shorter?

Head sizes are an issue the Figuarts line has every now and again, where they just don't look right. In fact, I think Wizard Flame Style was one that was criticized for his head being too small. Conversely, Accel was notorious for his oversized head.

Finally, as for paint quality... you could indeed just have gotten a bad one, which would be unfortunate. :/ That's what I would lean towards, but I really don't think it would be a knock off.

Arms Action Gaim. Candy toy versions of Arms Change. They're about 4" tall and look nice with most figures in that scale. Also, the line has Sigurd and Knuckle that aren't web exclusives :p

There are no bootleg Rider / Sentai Figuarts, just DBZ and Sailor Moon, and they're incredibly obvious, the packaging says they're from like Bandon or something silly, and they look shit.

They're the same height, and Zolda's head is actually smaller than Tiger's. Same feet (with the exception of the boot prints) too.

Do they really release figures out of scale with one another? I guess for a show accurate company it makes sense, but was Tiger shorter than Zolda in suit?

But if knock offs are that rare I am included to just believe I got a dud which is a shame.

See yours look different to mine, mine is visibly smaller with a much smaller head.

It looks like the new one's eyes aren't as translucent-y, but it's still a massive improvement. Also, is it sad that I didn't know this figure existed until yesterday? It completely went under my radar.

Unlike with the Black renewal, I don't think RX is a massive improvement over the original, an improvement certainly but Black/Kabuto Renewals made the originals look pathetic but I think the original RX still looks okay.

Next to the new Black the old RX looked bad. When you upgrade one you are kind of forced to upgrade the other. I do prefer the feel and diecast content of the originals though.

He's definitely a figure best appreciated in person. Images make the design of the figure look distracting but when you're in person you can really appreciate all the small details that went into this figure. It blows me away it's a budget toy.

STILL that fucking DJ Gun, man. Was it really that hard to adapt the peg system to his hands so he could actually hold it? Or did they really have to make it so chunky and heavy that he can't even hold it without fiddling for hours to get it just right? Grr.

CSToys sells them individually. Its where I got mine.

I just get them individually from CS Toys, they sell them for just under $5 each.

What is your light set up?

For the gradient I use 2 external flashes. One below the subject pointing at the background and one one the subject.

Cake Bake Off!

First up is Kaito. Channeling his Actor Yutaka's baking skills. he makes a desert called Crazy Monkey. Chocolate mousse surrounding a center of roasted bananas layered on top of chocolate cake with of course some dried banana's on top.

Next up is Jounouchi. Using his skills he got working under Oren at Charmant his desert is called the Hulk. Green tea mouse over chocholate cake and a hazelnut crunchy bottom. True to the deserts name one needs a bit of strength to get past the chocolate dome on top(though isn't using a Hamer more Thor's thing :p).

So I just got this in today to fill in for Femme for the time being:

Siren (or Femme) does look pretty nice, but the figure just feels cheap. Maybe I've been spoiled by Figuarts, but it just doesn't feel like a quality figure. Right out of the box, her arm is already falling off. I'm also not too fond of the greyish pants. I think the figure would have looked much better if it was straight up black, to better compliment the white. And I also don't like the wires on the cape. I really wish that was implemented better because the cape is hard to work with and then there's just these wires ruining the overall aesthetic.

She's tiny but I can deal with it since she's a girl, and it's really not noticeable when she's on her stand anyway.

Overall, not a bad figure, but I'm still holding out for Femme. Let's just hope mine doesn't break any time soon like I've heard from many others.

The weapons and cape are what you should worry about. Whereas Figma Knight's cape was done perfectly, Siren's is just terrible and is cheap. The wires can indeed come off fairly easily with her. Also the weapons are some of the weakest ones ever. They are so brittle.

Yeah, 3 different video reviews and in 2 of them, there were multiple things wrong with the figure. I came into it knowing that she couldn't be handled like my other figures so hopefully that knowledge helps in the end.

Figured I'd give a shot at taking a picture of my Arms Change figures next to their respective lockseeds, the backs of their boxes made a good wall to block my keyboard in the background. =P Also man posing Zangetzu with the Sonic Arrow is a pain, especially getting his other arm to grab the 'string' of the bow.
