Given Sentai's recent trends, my guess is animals wearing sports equipment. Its going to be ridiculous and silly and its probably kind of adorable. Because nothing says sports quite like adorable.

Anyone have any idea why Super Sentai got English dubs of their opening, and sometimes ending, songs from Carranger to Timeranger? Even Kamen Rider Kuuga, which aired alongside Timeranger, got one. What was so special about that time period that got them interested in such a thing? Were English language songs just one of the trends of the mid-late nineties that died off by the time Gaoranger and Agito aired?

I wouldn't mind the next sentai theme uses insect motif like kamen rider Kabuto and b-fighter kabuto/big bad beetleborgs. We only got Jin and J along with their buster hercules & goraigers and their goraijin.

Most of tribute episodes in Gokaiger has previous Super Sentai openings in instrumental version during Gokai Change fights. Example: Gaoranger opening instrumental version is played during Gokaiger episode 9 (Gaoranger Tribute). But why in Gokaiger episode 7 (Gekiranger Tribute), Gokaiger Episode 28 (Jetman Tribute), and Gokaiger Episode 44 (Battle Fever J Tribute) not have previous Super Sentai opening theme songs in instrumental version?

There is one other exception, which was Ohranger and that is that "Ole Ohranger" was ditched for "Niji-iro Crystal Sky" when they had the Ohranger guest episode. Thing about that though is that Niji-iro Crystal Sky was originally intended as the opening theme prior to Ohranger's airing but it got replaced by Ole! Ohranger and was used as an insert song instead. And from what I have heard hardcore Ohranger fans prefer Niji-iro Crystal Sky as the true theme song to Ohranger apparently.

Questions about sports themes in suit designs

A): Was Dynaman originally intended to be baseball-themed? I've heard this and it's believed that the suits look they way they do because the sports theme was dropped, but the suit motif remained.

B): Was Zyuranger partially inspired by sports or athletic designs? Saw archival footage where supposed athletes wore a (navy) colored outfit with a white diamond on the chest and white "belt", which echoes the Zyuranger design. It was old Soviet sports parade footage, but I cannot say if the outfit design is based on the sport itself or Soviet-state coloration. To be honest, I don't even know what sport this would correlate to.

How would be mechas based on Aquarius and Libra signs ?

Yes, they were going to be a baseball-themed team called V-Leaguer but flipped the script at the last minute as a science team. I guess it was too late to re-design the suits from scratch so they just did a few minor adjustments and moved along.

What's your favorite "mecha arriving onto the scene of battle" scene? I'm not really a fan of Mecha so scenes like this are always the highlight of them for me.
As for my favorite scene, I'm probably going to go with Timeranger's mecha. I loved seeing the Time Jets and Time Shadow fly through the different timelines and scaring the crap out of everyone who sees them. Time Shadow flew past *Moses* for crying out loud! Abaranger's mecha scenes are probably a close second though. I loved seeing Brachio stomping out of the water and watching as the Bakuryuu charged onto the scene of battle.

Do you guys find that the more emotionally involved/invested you were in a series of Power Rangers, the more you would be with it's Super Sentai counterpart? (Maybe vice versa?)

Should Sentai follow the concepts of PR ? i mean, they create a follow up and a unique mythology ?

Yeah, though personally I think Ole Ohranger is more energetic and the better opening theme. Niji-iro Crystal Sky I think should have replaced Kinkyuu Hasshin Ohranger as the ending theme and Kinkyuu Hasshin Ohranger should have been the insert song.

Anyone know where those Gokaiger wanted posters came from that some of the folks here have in their collections? Were they a magazine thing? Con knock-off? I've been trying to track down a set of those for years and even YJA fails me regularly on this one.

I have a strange feeling that official ones came with the blu-rays, but I can't find anything to verify it.
