For an extra deep cut, throw in Skyrider and Shin (Both of which were intended to be reboots, making them "Ichigou" in a sense) :lol

Three thoughts:
1.) It drives me nuts how the Kamen Rider Wiki is now putting translations on the Vistamps and stuff, a trend which started since Zi-O and reinforced with Saber. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate the translations but now when I see the Eyecons and Gashats which have long Japanese phrases in the henshin jingles and see it untranslated I feel a bit triggered (for lack of a better word). If someone's not gonna do those I might do it myself. 2.) The Fuusouken Hayate mentions scrolls ('hayate no maki', lit. 'scroll of green wind') and in hsi debut episode Kenzan's finisher uses scroll imagery so I feel like it's a wasted opportunity to not have Kenzan's muffler thing be a scroll. 3.) Someone on Reddit pointed out that Revi Kong Vistamp, which is based on Fourze (an astronaut), has 'strong arms' (those beefy arm armor) and wonders if its a pun on Neil Armstrong (an astronaut). If the visual pun was intentional then I give Toei my slow clapping awe. |
The Kong jingle is likely a pun, but IDK

the drive driver should've been called the S.E.A.T. belt
god I need to stop posting in this forum when I'm drunk |
Zero-One episode 3.
Man, another unintentional Indonesian reference here. The name of the sushi-making Humagear is so goddamn accurate; I(k)kan Nigiro. Sushis can be made with fish, and "ikan" is the Indonesian term for "fish". |
just remembered how funny baron looked when he had to swap drivers in his naked form in order to go from banana arms to lemon energy arms
|
I found Baron funny-looking without his armour too lol
|
^ Well, there is a reason people often referred to him as Banana both in and out of universe. ;)

My favorite part of the new OOO movie announcement is that I didn’t see it here first. It was just a random thing that popped up on YouTube for me and I had no idea what it was at first. That was a really nice surprise.

Ex-Aid is five years old this year.
That means I was 14 when it started airing. I'm 19 now. It feels just like yesterday when I stumbled upon those 'Space Invaders-looking dudes' on the Tamashii Nations webpage before I decided to check out Kamen Rider. There's nothing quite like reminiscing on your first weekly experience of Kamen Rider to make you feel old. |
