However, setting that aside for a moment, it's possible that these are the Pokémon that are not in the Kalos region that will be receiving Mega forms, but that's purely a guess, and it would be odd considering Haunter was featured in aerial battle footage.

Whether this exact image is accurate or not, the ones featured that aren't confirmed already make a lot of sense. Every starter Pokémon, at least one Dragon line (or "dragon" in Tyrantiar's case), and some of the most competitive of each generation. In that sense Ampharos seems the most out of place despite being confirmed already! Mind you, I'd never complain of that fact. It rectifies one of the greatest mistakes of Generation II in granting Ampharos the additional Dragon type it always deserved.

What can I say I love Mawille so it was the first thing I noticed, I didn't realize about the other guys :p

And I agree completely, the list makes a lot of sense, except for Ampharos (not that I'm complaining), just feels kinda weird to lack some of the confirmed guys.

If it's true I won't be surprised, the choices are logical.
