Ex-Aid, please don't do this to me unless you're planning to bring Kiriya back a little later. This would be a neat thing for a couple episodes, but like, why did you even go through the trouble of designing Ex-Aid's bike with a face if it was just going to become a boring normal bike after 12 episodes?

He might have been in both, but I know for a fact he was in the novel at least, but other than a translated blurb, I've found nothing on it.

In-universe, it almost certainly could; but we'll never see it because the toy can't do it.

Thinking about it more, I'm actually less worried about him being dead and more how long he's going to be gone if the show felt it necessary to give all his merch to other to characters so it'd still be relevant.

I'm thinking, worst-case scenario, Kiriya is less Hase and more Takatora. Unless Ex-Aid proves to be more daring than Gaim could ever hope to be. Like they just advertised this guy as a main character, wrote him as one, and then just get rid of him like it's nothing.

I'm not digging the Legend Gamers that much. They look cool on their own merits, but I think Ghost's whole coat gimmick lent itself better to actually looking like the old Riders. It had a sort of cosplay vibe I found cute.

EDIT: Hey wait, looking at those scans again, I think it says the YouTube miniseries they'll be in is actually called Kamen Rider Genm? You can even see the logo for it. That seems... strange. It mentions in the corner the Genm Corporation makes the Gashats, but that wouldn't seem to gel with the current status quo, unless things change by January. Not that the canon of Kamen Rider side stuff is rock solid to begin with, but still.

And also Genm(u) the company is actually written with kanji (幻夢) apparently. You learn something new every day...

Hmm..yes, Bakusou Bike in toy version cannot become armor for other Ex-Aid Riders but Lazer's Rider Gauges (gamepad chest with healthbar) can be removable. The other Ex-Aid Rider's Rider Gauges also can be removable. Hmm....I think in toyline, Ex-Aid Bike Action Gamer is Ex-Aid used Lazer's Rider Gauges on Ex-Aid's chest and Ex-Aid armed with Lazer's two wheels.....

Seems like Lazer will now be a lifeless bike that Ex-Aid uses. So Ex-Aid will do what Genm did with Shakariki Sports to summon the bike: insert the gashat into the Kimewaza slot holder.
