I mean, yeah, unlikely but it would've been a nice touch. Like, if the Swordrivers were originals (hence three slots) or something and every other sword was reverse engineered from them (hence one slot) or something I don't know.

Weren't there also rumors about it being an external upgrade device? Like in the style of Blade's Rouze Absorber? I remember hearing that, but I don't remember where. I would personally prefer something like Build where it plus into the driver, but has its own sounds too.

If it had an NFC in it, the sword could activate it by pulling out of it or tapping the front with the tip.
