I think Keisuke's dad has the best record for a Kamen Rider parent. He didn't die until about halfway through the first episode of X. :p

Also, Ixa wins the award for worst secondary rider ever. He is a TITANIC toolbox. He's like... you know when Americans who've clearly not ever sen anything Japanese THINK anime and Japanese shows are like? Where teh characters are one-track, needlessly stoic, and just spew generic pseudo-thematic horsebutt statements like "I will defeat you" or "I will take your life" without any clear motive or commitment? That's Ixa. Or "Nago" since I just mean modern day Ixa. It's a real treat to see a character SO woefully under-characterized, generic, insulting simplified and panderingly dramatic. He's Vegeta from Dragonzball P.

Kiva is... Kiva is my favourite worst series I've watched. It is, overall, dreck. It only continues to prove this fact with each episode. But the flare and Wataru's amusing activities keep me watching because I've not actually anything better to do at the moment.

EDIT: Further proof Ixa is a toolbox; while he's busy assaulting people for harmlessly playing music for their own enjoyment, the Spider Fangire almost killed another person. SWEET BRO THANKS FOR THINKING ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR THE WORLD BY LETTING SOMEONE DIE SO YOU CAN BE A FASCIST PRICK.

Also, Spider Fangire is now my favourite character next to Kiva.

If you dislike Nago now, wait for what happens in the "753" episodes, when he turns into something that feels like a rejected Go-Onger. ;)

I've never bothered much about him, so I neithe like or hate him, but he's certainly one of the shows weakest characters.

Decade-Kuuga just tends to forget he is a rider in the first place, so it's hard to see him as a secondary xD

I love Nago, he is a very crazy, and interesting character. I mean he loses the IXA Power and goes out just to help the next user and cheer him on. He does a lot of things right by the end of the series.

He's gonna have to. So far he is a concentrated vile of pure shit writing. Kiva feels like it's trying REALLY hard to be like older series like Agito or Kuuga, which means it's trying REALLY hard to be utterly awful.

ANYWHO: So Kiva made a friend in the rock guy, but is now approached by a talent scout, and has to choose between his friend and making it big.

Ummm... didn't there used to be some kind of armoured vampire in this show?

EDIT2: Wow, Otoya literally just stood by as Jirou killed and consumed a woman, and didn't even act horrified or upset in any way. He actually seemed vindicated and cocksure now that he had witnessed Jirou feed as a monster.

Over the course of Kiva I eventually came to like Nago. In fact, I think he somehow became my favorite character in it? But he is, undoubtedly, the worst writer I've ever seen. But over the course of Kiva he devolves from a sterotypical tough guy (with no actual reason to hate Kiva) to this...moronic wacky cartoon. I couldn't help but be amazed by the sheer stupidity of it all.

Amen, brother. That line should be emblazoned across every piece of Kiva merchandise.

Wow episode 26 of Ryuki was a pretty good one, I liked of how Reiko is getting to the fact of mirror world, I loved how Sinji's like ya! I get to use Zolda's cards sp I can have giant shoulder missiles! But instead backfired at him which was nice. Seeing Ren being affected by Eri being put in emergency was neat as well as seeing Yui being like "Oh no! It was my fault!". I'm interested to see where the series goes from here.
