I'm not a huge rap fan so this won't exactly be my number Rider opening I would be lying if I said i hated this however.

And speaking of Revice, I just realised the other day that the reason why Vice Rex Genome is pastel pink and black is because that's Revi's base colors, keeping with the trend of Vice donning the base Rider's colors. So technically speaking I suppose Vice doesn't have an official color scheme?

What's the deal with Gridon, Kurokage and Knuckle having Lockseeds based on nuts BTW? Everyone else uses fruit, the whole show is based around fruit, why nuts? Don't get me wrong, I love their designs but it's just a weird thing to think about the more you ruminate on it.

Also, I just stumbled upon the 'Mutating Magno' and 'Combat Chopper' toys that was released during Masked Rider's airtime in the States. I honestly have no idea what to feel about this but right now it's a mixture of 'that's cool I guess' and 'what on earth?".

Vice's official color is black and blue. He has tones of blue on his armor that aren't borrowed from the Rex genome. And he's mostly black being that those are apparently the color of demons

I always thought it was a gag thing. Like oh, Gridon and Kurokage are the lame ones that are bad at fighting and aren't in the spotlight and are mostly here to be a joke; so they don't even get proper fruit

Pretty much. Urobuchi said he suggested nut and seed themed lockseeds as a part of power class system and show they were a rank below the fruit kind

Yeah, and it's explicitly brought up in the show that Lockseeds are categorized in letter grades, which I believe were meant to directly equate to how powerful they were. I think it was like, all the proper fruits are class A, Donguri is B, Kurumi and Matsubokkuri are C, and then the humble Himawari, which doesn't even power a Rider, is way down in D.

I just wanna say I really like what revice is doing with Hiromi (even though I haven't seen a whole lot of him in my watch through yet). He's a well written supporting character who's also a rider. He doesn't take the spotlight away from the main characters but is well written and has his own story. His character isn't one dimensional or silly, and like he's just seems overall really good.

I mostly talk about this in reference to the Shindai siblings from saber who were supporting/tertiary(?) riders that didn't really do much.

Edit: I say this as a person who mostly likes saber (and the Shindai siblings pre-redemption)
