Is the Marth Amiibo actually disappearing fast? I was using a $50 discount coupon so figured I might as well buy an Amiibo because I am weak. And Gamestop had one thanks to a cancelled order so I caved over the ones that are sure to always be in stock like Pikachu, Link, and Mario...

Oddly I can't find Link or Marth anywhere locally. Lots and lots of Kirby, Pikachu, Mario, Fox, & such.

Huh. I expected Link to be one stocked to freaking hell. Besides the behind-the-counter preorders, the Gamestop I went to (and the only place I'll be able to check for a couple weeks :( ) had a good number of Yoshi, Peach, Pikachu, Link, and Mario. Maybe some Foxes?

So far SSB for Wii U is pretty fun but I have two serious complaints about it.

1: Holy hell is this game hard! 2.0 is rocky as hell since the AI in this game will gang up on you no matter what you do. Smash Tour was a terrible experience due to that fact. Also I get getting parts like Insult to Injury Saddle and I don't know how to use them.

2: The rumble can't be turned off all the way. It's either rumbling all the time or just during the menus. I want to use my new Gamecube controller but I hate the rumble. Can anyone help me with this?

I went to three stores yesterday looking for him. I was first going to do the TRU deal, but they didn't have Marth because they sold out. I then stopped at Best Buy and was told they never received any extra stock of him. They only has 5 available, Mario, Link, Samus, Pikachu, and Kirby. I then ran in Target and found an empty Marth peg. I was about to call it quits, but then I checked the Skylanders end and found someone had put 3 Marth's on the bottom shelf. Needless to say, I grabbed the best looking one and checked out. It seems like Villager, Marth, and Wii Fit Trainer are the least stocked ones.

I find the difficulty to be a bit off-putting as well. That and I can't find a mode of play that really puts me in the classic Smash Bros mindset. I really don't understand the so called classic mode or the point of nearly every fight in it being the CPU's ganging up on you. So far I seem to be unable to do much of anything on a difficulty level above 2.5. Maybe that's partially to me being very out of practice, but damn.

I'll admit I like having the option of 5 to 8 characters on screen but I feel an update that tones down the AI to 3DS levels might be needed.

I'm still at a loss over that darn rumble feature. Why I can't fully turn it off is beyond me and I can't mod the controller since my hands aren't very steady.

But yet it's still a fun game; it's the difficulty that's the one thing really hurting it. Plus I keep getting custom parts for Amiibos and I don't plan on using that feature in the foreseeable future. I wanted to fully customize Mega Man but I may have to port my custom MM from my 3DS version given how things are with my poor luck regarding Custom Parts.

I'd have ordered this if I knew it came with an adorable kitten!
