Go-busters 3-7
I like how Enter is trying new and different tactics each episode to try and win. That in invasion of the mech holding area was pretty cool. I also like how each episode the Go-Busters deal with a different problem, like the Ace Malfunction or trying out Go-Buster-oh for the first time. Granted, the episode format is still repetitive but its nice to know that they try to mix it up. |

------------ Up to 36 on Gekiranger, so let's see: -Kensei vs Kenma = Badass -Edo era? It was inevitable I guess. -34 and 35 were incredibly awesome, SaiDain is a different kind of fighter than Touja or Fire, but it makes sense. The fights are incredible and they finally take down Maku to the sound of "Super Gekiranger", Long continues to be awesome and the new GekiRin rebellion is starting to shape. There were tons of great moments in these eps, like the Kensei getting their life drained, the utter determiantion of Jan and the Beast Power Bloom. -36 was a partial recap and had a drunk Retsu. |
Just finished Gekiranger. Oh maw gawd, Ken. You were the best part of this series and I wish you were there since day one. Dressing up as kid's dead mom on Christmas was insane, hahahaha, it's the thought that counts, right? Really glad I watched Gekiranger from start to finish, it was fantastic.

Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Epic 01 Yes, I'm rewatching my favorite Sentai series. And I promise it won't all be Moune gushing.. Alot of it will be, I admit that! But onward! God Moune's pretty... Anyway! Alata gets alot of guff for not being a good Red, but I promise you he is. He's strong, he has heart. He's better than Troy. And he showed that in the opening seen where he fights Dereputa of the Meteor (Who by the way is 30 times more threatening in this than he ever was in Megaforce). And when he helps Nozumo find the courage to apologize. Speaking of the Warstar. Buredoran of the Comet's voice.. Vrak, Buredoran, my god both their voices are excellent. And even though he hasn't said a single word about his truth you can see him scheming behing Drake's back. The opening villian, Mizugo, was a good opening villian to. Threatening but not overly so. But damn those buildings crumpled quick. I'd be suing some contractors :lol Have I mentioned Moune is awesome yet? And you can tell through how he acts that Alata knew Nozo had the Card the entire time, and was using it to help him find his courage. It didn't need said. .. Moune o_o |

Tensou Sentai Goseiger Epic 02 Dereputa should've just attacked them himself instead of watching Drake send out another minion. Speaking of UFO is one of the better Warstars. .. God Moune is awesome >_< Did you see how she handled those UFOs?! .. So awesome! A great introduction episode for the Machines. Though you'd think someone on those vehicles would've had a panic attack :lol "Is that.. Are we being violated by a giant Dragon Head?!" |

Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Epic 03 Moune.. Girl, I love you dearly but you gotta stop going off on your own like that. Look what he did your leg ._. I liked this episode but it made me think of something. Aside from Moune is awesome. Why didn't they use this episode in Megaforce? Think about it. They could've used it and Gia would've learned some humility, and given her much needed depth. Made her see she needs to rely on her team. Instead we got RockMan's episode and Emma lipsynching. Akiba: From TV-Nihon's page. I have all the Goseiger eps on my PC :lol |

Btw. I also wanted to rewatch Goseiger, but I'm still stuck somewhere around Episode 11 or something ^^' |
Everyone that says Alata is weak or anything like that should watch Goseiger Vs. Shinkenger. The Scene where he blocks Takerus attack to protect his friends is just bad ass.

Finished Gekiranger.
An excellent show, great characterization, a story that keeps raising the stakes without going overboard, great fight choreography, and an excellent set of antagonists, that keep the story moving even in the "filler" episodes. Jan is innocence incarnate, he's a tiger boy, wild, unrefined, but strong, honest and kind. His journey is an incredible road, Jan changes and matures but remain honest to himself all the way through, he's fun wihout being stupid, and know when to be serious. I loved Ran and Retsu, Ran was a great leader, and she totally deserved that position, there are so many shows where the protagonist is the leader whether he's the most capable one or not, but geki played it smartly. Retsu's search for beauty captivated me, his Cheetah-Ken and Bat-Ken are art and his training with Bat Li, remains one of my favorite moments in the show. Gou was a tricky one for me, there were times I though he was ok, but another times he drove me nuts, but as I learned more about him and understood his plight, I liked him more and more, he's not my favorite Gekiranger, but he's a great character with an interesting story. Ken, I love him, he's fun, aloof, and a little bit careless but he's able to go for further lenghts than one would expect, and he's one of my favorites on the show. The Kensei are great supporting characters, they are wise but can be silly, and as a result of their non-combat vow don't steal the spotlight from the main characters, Natsume is a suprisingly likeable kid character, and since Jan is pretty much a kid too she works better than other kid characters, Miki... could have done more, I liked her, but I'll be honest, I didn't think her actress was that good, and for someone so involved in the story could have done more. The other side of the coin RinJuken Akugata, Rio is an excellent antagonist, his journey is as fascinating as Jan's there are times you want to kill him, and others you want to hug him, but all the time he's a great lead for the RinJuken side. I love Mele, a though but insecure girl with an interesting story, and along her comes Bae, who really deserved more time, the two are great characters, with great performances by their actors. Kata, Rageku and Maku, are great, great, and kind of a letdown, for a guy who was all about hate he was prety chill sitting there all comfy, and taking away the spotlight from the other two. Long was a joy, that's all I'll say. And so ends Gekiranger, a story about personal growth, and surprisingly enough I'm not sad, it had a great ending and it feels like the journey is truly over, I can say goodbye to Gekiranger with a nikoniko and continue to aim higher. |
*claps slowly* Nicely said. I totally agree with that.

Still have to get, and watch Gekiranger.
Right now I'm on Kakuranger. # 34 will be my next episode. |
Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Epic 04 Not my favorite episode, I'll be honest. And not because it was an Eri-Focus. It wasn't my favorite episode in Goseiger, and it wasn't my favorite episode in megaforce. I just don't like Guitar Hero Warstar. Bureduran was awesome as always, and it did introduce Datas. But.. Other than that it's a forgettible episode. |

Hey guys first post here, so far as SS goes, I've watched Zyuranger, Magiranger, Dekaranger, and Gokaiger. Any suggestions on what to watch next? Top 3 or 5 list perhaps? Thanks! =)

I'd recommend Gekiranger! |
Go-busters 8-12
I think the episode format is getting repetitive. Granted, there's really good focus episodes for yellow and blue buster in there and Enter is trying to switch up his tactics but this still feels repetitive. Maybe because I'm watching them all in a row. I think episode 15 will be the first appearance of Beet and Stag buster so I'll see if the show gets any different. Also, that email at the end of episode 12 has about as good English as my Spanish. |

Next missions will be more unique. |
Isn't the episode format in Sentai always really repetitive?
|

I don't see it. :p |

Excellent story and characters, It's not for everyone as its quite dark, but I think it should be watched/tried by every Sentai fan to see how different Sentai can be while keeping the formula. |
Kyoryuger 37.
...I love this episode. :lol |
Wow, in just two days I made it from episode 7 to episode 22 of Zyuranger. This lack of a social life is a gift. :lol
Anyway, I'm LOVING Zyuranger and I already agree with the notion that it is superior to MMPR. Don't get me wrong, I like MMPR and Season one is better than I remember (so far), but Zyuranger far exceeds it. I especially like how Burai's introduction arc was handled better than Tommy's and I look forward to how things will play out for Burai. (even though I know what happens to him and his fellow turncoat Dino "special" in Abaranger...) |
Well now that Ryuki is done, it's time to return to Sentai. And I think it's time I return to Jetman.

I intend to start watching another sentai, but I wanted to ask around for a recommendation.
The one I want to watch is Gaoranger, and I wanted to ask anyone who's already seen it what they thought. I've still got to get to the halfway points of Shinkenger and Zyuranger, but I was curious about Gaoranger. |
I've heard mixed feelings on it. I personally haven't watched it though.
|
Gaoranger is pretty meh. its basically the sentai flavored sentai.

Yeah its pretty much what you expect a sentai to be. Basic character archetypes and a very episodic storytelling with no coherent storyline. And alot of Mecha Focused episodes.

Its the most average sentai has ever been :lol
|
Average Sentai Gaoranger.
|
The main reason I enjoyed GaoRanger is that it was my first Sentai series.
