I loved Gaoranger...I didn't feel like it got really boring at all.

I'm watching Changeman now. I'm 8 episodes in, and I instantly recognized the fact that the score was written by the same composer who did Liveman haha. I'm glad this show's completely subbed now (one way or another).

DaiRanger is by far the best Sentai ever. It is a serious tale with comedy thrown into the mix, every character gets a subplot of sorts (although, Kirin Ranger is the only one to have a weak one), and a lot of the subplot characters are fully developed. Even the majority of the villians are developed quite well. The monsters are fun and badass at the same time. I miss the days when monsters had human forms. You just cannot have someone as awesome as Father Magnet or the One-Legged Spanish Amigo without having a great human actor to go with them. And you will know what I mean by those two when you get there. :)

I'm guessing you watched it raw? has the whole series been subtitled? cuz I've only found a few episodes. I really wish it was fully subbed. I've always wanted to see how all the mmpr season 3 zords and monsters were originally written as.

I am on ep 27 of Gekiranger and whoever recommended it sure wasn't kidding. I can't believe I'm getting ready to say this out loud but I may prefer Gekiranger over Shinkenger, Blasphemy I know but damn! Gekiranger has been consistently awesome from the get go. ALL go NO slow!

I felt like that at first but yeah, I thought Gekiranger was better than Shinkenger too.

I just watched episode 5 of Choujin Sentai Jetman. Even though Kaori is such an airhead, the chemistry between the cast members works perfectly. And Gai Yuki is a total badass.

Source for the subs on that one? Been wanting to check out Jetman for a while myself.

No, seriously though, yes, they are raw because they are from my Region 2 DVDs. I import the DVDs from Japan becase as great as it is to download them, some series I love enough to give my money to the legitimate releases. I have all of Zyu, Dai, Kaku, Car, Ginga, GoGoV, Time, Gao, Aba, and Magi, along with a few volumes to Oh, Flash, and then the BDs that are out so far of Gokaiger and of course the BD of the movie set. Same goes with several Kamen Rider series and the live action Sailor Moon, plus Garo.

GekiRanger trumps Shinkenger hands down. Geki had a great cast of villians that were thoroughly developed and were not cookie cutter villians. Shinkeger's villians were boring, had very little development (it takes 22 episodes before Daiyu is developed, and Dokoku does nothing until like episode 44). Shinkenger is not a terrible series, but with the lack of development for the villians, Genta, the bad piled up mecha, and the sudden Kagemusha storyline, it missed a lot of points. They should have revealed Takeru's true purpose in the 30s to give the storyline the remainder of the series to develop instead of cramming it into 6 episodes.

How could I have possibly missed that? Insert facepalm. I go there for Liveman :lol
