I don't like some of the design choices- the sunglasses on the helmets and their suits in general, the lion head sticking out of the chest of the mecha etc. but other than that I really liked this episode. I thought the bad guys and their giant robots were really cool. I hope they continue to turn random vehicles and objects into the enemy for the episode. That part kind of reminded me of Jetman's dimension beasts. Overall I'm pretty excited for this series.

p.s. I have no problems with buddyroids or silly dancing.

I honestly like the "It's Morphin Time" sound, but the show itself is so far so lame... amirite?

If anything this feels like a Sentai'd up Ultraman show.

It doesn't feel like Sentai at all, honestly. I'm getting such a "Kamen Rider" vibe off of it that it's kind of maddening. I appreciate the attempt to be different, but it really, truly feels like a Kamen Rider/Ultraman hackjob with multi-colored suits called "Sentai" because you can't call it the other two.

We'll see, I guess.

I finally got around to watching the first episode today.

Except for Ace, I don't think I liked a single thing about it...

Especially the Engrish. Especially that. I'm going to be cringing every single episode when I hear "let's morphin." There were other instances of -ing words being used in place of the regular verb, and it just rubbed me the wrong way a lot.

Gorisaki was also incredibly disappointing as a worry wart. I got myself too excited upon learning he was voiced by the same guy that voiced Convoy since, y'know, he's a truck and a monkey, which is just incredible. Then the voice and his attitude ruined everything.

The smartass Usada was a little funny. I can see it becoming old, though.

I don't think it was that bad, except for "let's driving!" that one just doesn't sound right. Even though it's no more incorrect than "let's 'morphin!"

Well, I just finished the first episode, and I have to say that I love this show so far. This and Fourze are shaping up to be one of my more favored combinations of Rider and Sentai season. Dunno if they'll beat Shinkenger and W, but they're coming close.

Finally got around to watching this.

I had not read anything about this series before hand so when the changer said "It's Morphin Time" I laughed loud.

Are the large enemies called Megazords or is it just the subber using that name?

"Let's Morphin" yeah that will bother the hell out of me for the whole season
all the bad English will probably.
(this is getting into episode two but ) the weakness for Red..chickens? really?
