Holy fuck! Are they full on life on marsing this?

I'm a huge fan of it as well. My favorite piece so far is the transformation music, there's a very dream-like quality to it. I looked up the composer for the series and it looks like this is his first Sentai series. He usually works in J-Drama and dabbles in anime from time to time.

If you haven't seen Life On Mars, Sam Tyler is in a coma for the whole series - or is he? (with later seasons it gets really confusing) - but when the show was still cohesive aspects of him being in a coma seeped into his coma dreamworld.

Now the Toqgers are told they are 'as good as dead' and the last thing they remember is falling out of a tree as children so this one second shot of a kids tshirt may very well be the entire explanation from the show. They are kids, in comas, in a children's ward.

With that in mind the shows tendency to have a very childlike feel during very dark situations and its tendency to break the fourth wall plus the theme of IMAGINATION all really makes sense for one disturbing package.

If they're all in comas, dreaming themselves into existence because their imaginations are so potent, it would be fairly excellent.

That would have been a cool in-show reveal. Damn Paladin and his eagle eyes! :lol

Remember how Right just wakes up on the train? Like how Sam wakes up in his car? Is it possible that Right is the only one alive? Gene Hunt and the gang weren't real, just Sam. This gets more fucked up by the second.

That'd be insane...Man, that would make the show a hell of a lot more interesting~!

I haven't got this excited by a show ever!

According to Ashes to Ashes: They were all real. Overall, LoM/AtA is one of the few televised tales in recent years that actually lived up to its starting promise. (In my opinion, of course.)
