I think I realize my problem with Battride War series' graphics. It's not necessarily the quality of the textures (which look good from these screenshots) or the resolution, but that the models do not look built to be in HD quality. They all look like PS2 models with nice textures on them.

The Combatman apparently is Hongo in disguise.

I love that you can play as Hongo and transform into Ichigou that's awesome. I would love if they did that with more of the riders. I hope with them having over 45 characters now confirmed that means we'll get Riderman.

Heads up all, a friend of mine that speaks Japanese alerted me to the fact the Hongo as Shocker Grunt is a first edition bonus. It's detailed on the following page of the site (In Japanese of course).
