And as mentioned, SoCs tend to have a fairly small production run. This isn't going to wind up shelfwarming at Toys R Us. I don't expect it to even HIT a big retailer like that. At best a comic shop or other specialty store will get a couple in, or order per customer request. But this isn't going to have the level of distribution and proliferation of Legacy toys. Contrary to popular belief, Bandai isn't stupid.

And people have pretty consistently dropped close to that amount on Legacy items, especially if they've been collecting all the Megazords up to present. A dedicated collector will find the money if they want something badly enough. And for something like this that can easily be billed as THE definitive DaiZyuJin/Megazord, I don't see that being much of an issue.

There are definitely people who will spend big money on this, but I agree with you that there aren't a whole lot of them. The thing is, this likely isn't going to be a very wide release. Retailers aren't going to stock their shelves full of these things, expecting customers of all sorts to spend big money on them. This is going to be made for and marketed to the fans who WILL drop the big bucks on it, and it's most likely going to be sold in limited quantities through the retailers who will reach those fans most directly.

And while the mighty morphin movie rangers would be pretty cool in figuarts form, I don't think the international market is as interested as it is in dino megazord/daizyujin. There's something about it that just tends to resonate with fans, even if it isn't too special for what it is. Thats why it gets so many releases.

Now onto more pressing matters, will we be getting one of these for the site's galleries because this thing is just...

Yeah I agree with what your saying about the retailers they won't order to much it wouldn't make sense.

Nice to see another fan who wants the movie figuarts as well. Even if the movie figuarts got release just for the US they would not have to make many of them. Like limit to 500 made only or around that number. It just with the new movie coming out next year I thought making the movie figuarts was a good idea and hype as well.

The best you can and should reasonably hope for is the new Legacy "Not-Figuarts" line to do the Movie suits.

I dunno. I think the Legacy line is proving to Bandai that collectors are willing to drop $100-200 on premium items. If one is willing to shell out $200 for the Thunder Megazord, then SoC Daizyuzin is just the next step up from there.
