I'm sorry, I disagree. I prefer the Matty one. He isn't perfect, but he is far closer to being anime accurate than the Toynami one.

I would agree with you up to a point, and it's mainly the Black Lion's chest and face in Voltron mode, compared to the Toynami one, it just looks sad, everything is sloping downwards, where as the Toynami version looks proud and majestic. But the Matty one is definitely more anime accurate especially in lion mode. Unfortunately in Voltron mode, the legs are just unsightly, so far the only version that did the lions legs justice is still the original diecast version and the subsequent derivatives.

I don't really see a sad face on him, but I will agree that Toynami's face is better. However, if it is a sad face, wouldn't you be sad to if your legacy had Voltron Force in it?

Of course, in all honestly, I bought this set for the pilots more than anything else. I am quite happy with my Blazing Sword Voltron because he is completely anime accurate and probably the only time I will ever see a single piece multiposseable Golion figure because I doubt Tamashii Nations will ever do one for their robot line. I just wish Mattel would at least do a BS Dairugger XV.

Not sure what you mean by the legs though. Do you mean the lion legs? If so, I see nothing wrong with the way Mattel's is other than them being spring loaded. Hell, my Toynami Voltron cannot have his green and red legs bent any other way than the same way Mattel's version does because they scratch against his torso any other way.

Yeah I mean the individual lion legs, I feel the original toy did it the best where the lower legs goes into the upper/thigh part of the legs, Toynami at least retained the black lion's front legs into shoulder gimmick, but Mattel left that part out altogether. I was all for this Voltron when it was first announced, but then I saw it in person at ToyFair, and lost any and all interest after that, power to the people who got the set though :)

They sure did. It's a very inclusive set, which helps justify the price a lot more for me. The one thing I wish it would have come with is a flame-colored Broken Magnum.

Didn't realize that thing was already out. I have one on order through my job but it doesn't ship til the 28th of November for US comic shops. Not digging the cape but the figure itself looks amazing.

That beauty is the Play Imaginative Super Alloy Batman. Based on Jim Lee's New 52 art it's nearly 85% metal and 1/6 scale so it's 12 inches tall. I cannot wait to get my hands on that thing.

Ohhh, Yu looks nice for a Figuarts Zero. Does that effects part come with it?

I keep wanting to say this figure is based on Arkham City, but I may be wrong. It might just be a manga based look for Bats.

Bam! And dude... you won't be disappointed. I don't know if you've read about the shoulders: I haven't had any problems, but I've babied it, so just watch that area.

YEa, I do wish the cape was at least CUT more to form on the magnet parts if it couldn't be done differently in general (latches, maybe?), but it's good for what it's worth. I'm hoping to maybe see some custom ideas.

EDIT: I had to check where you live when I read that you were getting this at a comic shop, and super jealous of that: My town's comic shops don't sell collectible-styled toys at all.
